Zach Bryan Calls Kid Rocks Halftime Show Embarrassing

 on Monday was critical of Turning Point USA for programming a rival halftime show opposite  with Kid Rock as its headliner.

The 29-year-old country music artist posted a statement to his Instagram Stories page critical of 's All-American Halftime Show, later deleting it.

'I don't care what side you're on,' the singer-songwriter said, according to multiple reports. 'A bunch of adults throwing temper tantrums and their own halftime show is embarrassing as hell and the most cringe s*** on the planet.'

Bryan, , previously made reference to Kid Rock on social media during the the competing halftime shows Sunday.

The Grammy-winning vocalist posted an Instagram story of a person covering Bad Buddy's performance with their hand on a TV screen while watching Kid Rock's outing on a phone.

'What Kid Rock actually thinks is happening across America,' the Oologah, native wrote.

Bryan later said of the reaction, 'Bro the irony in how upset a bunch of middle aged douchebags are in my DM’s this morning hahahahah.'

Bryan was snapped with Trump at last year's Super Bowl

Bryan has occasionally touched on political issues, making headlines in July 2024 after supportive comments for President Donald Trump following the attempt on his life in .

'I don't support Trump or Biden but the man got shot in the ear, head... and then fist bumped in the air,' Bryan wrote at the time on social media. 'That is sick, dude!'

Bryan was snapped with the 45th and 47th president at last year's Super Bowl.

Bryan last fall raised eyebrows when he released Bad News a track taking direct aim at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and their efforts.

The song included lyrics such as: 'And , bust down your door /Try to build a house no one builds no more /But I got a telephone /Kids are all scared and all alone.'

The lyrics continue: 'The middle finger’s rising, and it won’t stop showing/ Got some bad news/ The fading of the red, white and blue.'
