star Kerwin Silfies has died at the age of 75 after a private battle with several health issues.
The former director, who was a part of the company's programming since 1985, passed away on February 17.
Retired wrestler and Chief Content Officer Triple H, announced the sad news on Instagram with a heartfelt tribute.
He wrote: 'Today, the WWE family lost one of our beloved members. Kerwin Silfies was a huge part of the company’s programming since the mid-1980s.
'Over his 35+ year tenure with WWE production, he directed countless episodes of Raw and Smackdown, PLEs, and of course WrestleMania.
'With a dry wit and an unmatched passion for his work and his coworkers, Kerwin affected hundreds of employees and millions of fans.'

Triple H concluded: 'Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this time.'
AEW Dynamite commentator Taz (Peter Senerchia) added: 'I can’t explain what a super person and great director Kerwin was.
'I worked with him for many years in WWE on the road and in the studio. His passion for great TV in the wrestling biz was strong.
'This man once was working in the studio through an actual heart attack and kept working!

'Very sad to hear this, hope they put him in the Hall of Fame. He belongs. Prayers and support to his family.'
Others commented: 'So sad to hear this. Every time I saw Kerwin, while with WWE or visiting, he had time for me. Sleep in peace kind Sir';

Kerwin remained working for WWE until he was furloughed in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
He was later replaced by Marty Mille who stepped into his role as director.
Kerwin worked on Raw and SmackDown as well as live events and WrestleMania broadcasts.
