Viewers Catch Jimmy Bullards Lie About Trial

viewers have claimed to have spotted the moment that 'proves' Jimmy Bullard 'lied' about the trial which kick started his clash with . 

The pair locked horns during a Bushtucker Trial in during the show's filming last year, when Jimmy refused to do the trial and put Adam's position at risk because they were partnered.

The footballer left the show under a cloud, having said 'I'm a celebrity, get me out of here' during the team trial.

Adam was left furious and shouted: 'Jimmy, are you f***ing taking the p***? I am in there getting covered in f***ing ants.'

Jimmy replied: 'Woah, calm down. That's pathetic.'

However, Jimmy has insisted the exchange was worse, claiming Adam also used the C word and was 'aggressive, abusive and intimidating'.

The building tension between the campmates exploded during Friday's live final, after Jimmy explained his reasons for his actions.

He said: 'When we went down to trial, it was originally for stars, so then I chose Adam when it was for stars.

'Then you sprung a big lightbulb moment in my head when you said the bottom two get to go home.

'So I didn't choose Adam after that, I didn't know anyone was going home, I thought it was for stars.'

He continued to explain that he spoke to someone on production about the terms of his contract, claiming he would only get a percentage of his payment if he quit while in camp, but would get the full amount if he did it during a trial.

But ITV viewers weren't convinced by his claim. Sharing the pre-trial clip on a Reddit forum, host Declan Donnelly can be heard saying: 'Over the next few days, you'll be taking on trials and challenges in pairs.

'And your fate going forward will depend on how well you perform during each trial in that pair.'

This prompted fans to write underneath the clip: 'Surely this just proves everything Jimmy said to be a lie?!

'He said he didn't choose Adam deliberately, as when he picked Adam, he thought they would be getting stars, and they didn't find out the real reason until after they had picked their partners!'

Another replied: 'I said myself it seemed planned to sabotage Adam and his place.

'This proves Jimmy was talking rubbish. He even smirked whilst standing there refusing to do the trial after letting Adam get in with the ants waiting for him.'

Adam and David Haye also had a fractious relationship during their time together in the jungle, which was filmed in September last year, with David accused of 'bullying' after he branded the  'useless' for excusing himself from a trial due to his health.

During the live finale, hosts Ant and Dec struggled to control the situation as Gemma Collins and Sinitta stormed off stage in fury.

The Geordie duo gave Jimmy the opportunity to speak after Adam allegedly called him the 'C-word' in an explosive clash when he pulled the plug on the show early last year.

Jimmy admitted he had to leave for personal reasons and that if he didn't say 'I'm A Celebrity' in the challenge, he would not have received his full pay.

'Listen, Adam and all of you can be upset with me and I absolutely threw him under the bus, I get it and I'll wear that', Jimmy said. 'But what I don't stand on, is someone being abusive, aggressive and intimidating, I don't stand on that.'

Welcoming Ant and Dec to share their opinion on the matter, Jimmy said: 'You [pointing to the hosts] were there and you didn't show any of that [footage].'

'We all had banter back and forth, a lot of it was cut out from their side. But I think it is time for the truth.'

Storming off stage, Sinitta yelled at the audience: 'Guys, you weren't there, I was there and it was aggressive and abusive, we were shaking.'

Jimmy shouted in the background: 'You can't be aggressive, abusive and intimidating, it doesn't matter if Adam said sorry. I will not take you [Ant] saying it wasn't aggressive, abusive and intimidating, you can't say that. Show it, let everyone watch it, let's play it now!'

Ant and Dec wrapped up: 'Right, let's leave it there. We'll agree to disagree Jim.'
