threw it back to her 's heyday as she flashed the band's signature peace sign while at the launch of her new GAP range in New York.

The fashion designer, 52, was supported by her family on Wednesday night as the Beckham brood celebrated her brand's collaboration.

Victoria was joined by her husband David, daughter Harper, 14, and son Cruz, 21, and his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 30, for the event - though her son Brooklyn, 27, was expectedly absent amid their continuing family feud.

The GAP range serves as a love letter to her early style, featuring denim jackets, capris trousers and clean simple T-shirts.

The move represents a calculated shift in the fashion landscape as she lends her 'VB' seal of approval to a nostalgic high-street giant.

Cruz even repped a hoodie from the line at the event as the family where joined by the likes of actress and model Michelle Randolph, Ali Larter and editor Nina García.

'Thank you to the amazing teams who helped us bring this collaboration to life and to my friends and family for coming to celebrate with us in NYC xx.'

She looked as chic as ever for the event in a slouchy navy suit and white T-shirt while David, 50, wore a dark blue co-ord.

'Growing up, it was only ever the high street. I wasn't in a position to wear designer clothes.'

It comes after Victoriaaddressed her 'challenging' past year amid her feud with son Brooklyn in a rare TV interview on Tuesday.

When asked on the Today show by hosts and  about the tumultuous recent time for the family Victoria didn't specifically reference her son, but said she will 'always protect' her kids.

Jenna directly asked her in the interview: 'You have had a pretty public challenging year - we have talked about it on this show. How do you get through the tough times?'

She replied: 'You know, myself and David, we're so close and we have incredible people around us.

'We're close to my parents and David's parents. We support each other through everything that we do.

'We love our children so much and have always really focused on protecting our children. But we laugh a lot. is really, super funny.'

Brooklyn cut ties with his family in a scathing social media statement in January, declaring he has no plans to reconcile with his famous parents and '.

David and Victoria have not been seen with their son since.

Victoria also said in the new interview that her and her husband rely on each other to navigate tough times.

She said: 'We support each other through everything that we do. We've grown together. And that's where I feel so blessed.

She also addressed the feud directly, saying: 'I think that we've always — we love our children so much. We've always tried to be the best parents that we can be.

'And you know, we've been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we've ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that's all I really want to say about it'.

Victoria was also asked about whether she feels 'remorse' about bringing her family, including her four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14, as well as her parents, into the public spotlight.

She told The Wall Street Journal: 'I wouldn't say it comes with guilt, I'd say that there was a lot of adjusting from my mum and dad, when all of a sudden there were paparazzi outside their house,' she replied. 'We've really taken our families on this ride with us'.

David and Victoria haven't spoken to Brooklyn since last May, when he and his wife Nicola Peltz snubbed the former footballer's 50th birthday celebrations.

Brooklyn and Nicola's lawyers wrote to the Beckhams' legal team demanding that they only converse through them.

Shortly before Christmas, Brooklyn blocked his parents on Instagram, and in January, he posted a brutal, bombshell six-page letter on the social media platform.

He claimed David and Victoria controlled him for most of his life, tried to split him and Nicola up and left him embarrassed when his mother danced 'inappropriately' with him during his first dance at his wedding.

Speaking about all four of her children earlier in the interview, Victoria added that 'being a parent of young adult children and adult children, gosh, I mean, it's very different from having little children'.

'I think that we're trying to do the best we can,' adding that the negative press in the past three months has not affected her fashion and beauty business.

'I think that ultimately people are buying my product because the product is really good. I don't think they're buying my eyeliner just because it's me,' she said.
