The 65-year-old Bravo beauty and her spouse, 80, were named in a legal complaint filed in Superior Court on November 25, 2025, and reviewed by the Daily Mail.
The handyman, Eric Nieto, said in his filing that he was hurt doing work on the $14 million estate owned by The alum and her husband on November 25, 2023.
He is asking for $150,000 for pain and suffering; and for an additional $45,199.71 in medical costs related to the incident, according to a May 8 court filing.
Nieto told the court he 'had been hired' by the reality star and her husband 'to perform handyman work at the property and was on the premises at [their] request and direction.'
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Vanderpump for further comment on the story.

According to his legal complaint, Nieto said he had been 'required to use an interior stairway leading down to the basement' of the home as part of 'his assigned work.'
Nieto said in the court filing that as he 'walked down the basement stairs while carrying out his assigned duties, his left foot became stuck on a stair tread.'

The handyman said that the couple breached those obligations by 'allowing the basement stairway to exist in a dangerous condition,' not inspecting or fixing it; and not warning him ahead of time.
The alleged negligence Vanderpump and Todd displayed as homeowners 'was a substantial factor' in Nieto getting injured, his lawyer said in the filing.
Nieto said in his complaint that 'after the fall, [he] received no medical assistance, no workers' compensation, and no monetary help, only a bucket of ice water.'
An insider close to the Bravo stars told TMZ Tuesday that the pair 'referred the matter to their homeowner's association' for further review.
