Fishbowl founder Casper Ettelson marries stunning model Serena Wardell in lavish European wedding

Fishbowl co-founder Casper Ettelson has married model Serena Wardell in a romantic European wedding surrounded by their closest family and friends.

The Australian entrepreneur and his longtime partner exchanged vows during an intimate ceremony in Ireland on June 20, with guests later sharing a glimpse inside the lavish celebrations on social media.

Among those offering a rare look at the private nuptials was Australian model Zali Kidwell as she posted a series of elegant images from the exclusive event.

The ceremony was held inside a grand historic estate featuring soaring white vaulted ceilings, ornate timber panelling, decorative tiled floors and towering tapestries, creating a fairytale backdrop for the couple's vows.

Guests were treated to an elegant candlelit reception beneath flowing ivory drapery and lush greenery, where waiters poured premium wines as diners enjoyed a multi-course meal.

Another photograph showed beautifully dressed tables complete with crisp white linen, silver cutlery and personalised menus, while champagne flowed throughout the afternoon celebrations.

Outside, guests gathered on the manicured grounds of the estate for drinks, with one image showing a smiling blonde guest wearing a sophisticated ivory gown with wide shoulder straps as she toasted the newlyweds with a glass of champagne.

Another candid snap captured the glamorous crowd mingling on the lawn, with men dressed in classic black tuxedos and women opting for timeless black and cream evening gowns. 

Rather than asking guests for traditional wedding gifts, the newlyweds instead invited family and friends to contribute towards their European honeymoon through Honeyfund.

In a humorous message on the registry, they joked about what supporters could expect their money to fund.

'Picture Casper failing to stand up on a paddle board, four negronis deep in the south of France. Serena is peacefully undisturbed and onto her third novel, sunning herself on a cabana bed nearby.

'They've just done couples Pilates in their matching activewear and intend on returning to the same restaurant that evening with shirts on saying 'newlyweds'.

'They've FaceTimed their dog Rufus 14 times since breakfast and doubled their suitcase weight due to the mini jams and olive oil that Serena collects from the hotel buffets.

'Mr and Mrs Ettelson love a holiday.'
