Valerie Bertinelli Denies Ozempic Use, Shares Struggles

Valerie Bertinelli has been open about her past struggles with her weight, but she's now in a healthier place when it .

The former Jenny Craig spokesperson revealed to People that she's maintained a slimmer figure without the help of GLP-1s - medications such as Ozempic that lower blood sugar levels. 

But the 65-year-old is supportive of anyone who has found them beneficial.

'I think whatever anybody does to help themselves get to a better place to where they feel good about themselves, they should do it,' she told the outlet.

As she writes in her upcoming new book Getting Naked: The Quiet Work of Becoming Perfectly Imperfect, due out March 10, Bertinelli stressed that it's not for her or anyone else to judge how another person goes about losing weight.

'I think we need to take a lot of the judgment out of all of it,' said the star, who also revealed .

'Plastic surgery, GLP-1s, anything that someone else is doing that doesn’t affect your life, leave them alone.'

The Food Network alum also shared that she 'may not want to have plastic surgery but I don’t judge anybody. I don’t judge anybody for how they lose weight. It's flippin’ hard to do.

'It doesn’t mean I won’t have a neck lift. It doesn’t mean I won't try GLP-1s. It means no for now. It’s also helped a lot of people.'
