has reflected on a past 'situationship' that served as the inspiration for a track on her new EP, following her infamous 'throuple' drama with .

Back in 2023, the singer, 44, was engulfed in a flurry of reports that she was in a three-way relationship with the former professional boxer, 45, and his girlfriend Sian Osborne.

David and Sian have been dating since 2020, but in a break with the societal norm of monogamy, the couple have often opened up their relationship to include a third person.

However, Una roundly denied ever having been part of the 'throuple', insisting the only person she dated was David and claiming she had been 'hoodwinked'.

After releasing the song Walk Away about her situation with the long-term couple in June that year, the pop star has now penned a new track about a 'situationship' in her past.

She told The Sun that it had been 'very very romantic' at the time, but declared that she wouldn't ever have one again and had learned a lot about 'what I will not tolerate'.

Back in 2023, the singer, 44, was engulfed in a flurry of reports that she was in a three-way relationship with the former professional boxer, 45, and his girlfriend Sian Osborne

'I haven’t had the best track record,' Una admitted. 'I’ve moved on so long ago from all that. You live and learn in life.

'I think that I’ve learned now what I don’t want and I’m going to have my non-negotiables, what I will not tolerate or put up with.

'I don’t want to do the whole situationship thing. I’ve done that, I tried that. It’s not very fulfilling. I’ve actually written a song about it.'

The Saturdays star also explained her love life had also inspired another new song called Lonely Til I Die, recalling how she'd been 'really sad when I wrote it'.

She said: 'I've got some serious tracks, I've got one called Lonely Til I Die, so we can imagine what that one is about.

'Obviously when I was not in a great mood, not being very happy about my love life. and just thinking "is this it? Am I going to be lonely until I die?" Kind of a bit tongue and cheek as well.'

But despite the melancholic track, she said that she was enjoying being single and that she was determined 'not to settle for anyone'.

Rumours began that Una was part of a 'throuple' with David and Sian, after the trio shared a .

However, Una later insisted the only person she was dating was David - although he was simultaneously dating Sian, and said she had to Google what the word even meant.

The mother-of-two put an end to the unconventional relationship after 'growing tired of the negative attention' it generated.

David and Sian have been dating since 2020, but in a break with the societal norm of monogamy, the couple have often opened up their relationship to include a third person (seen together)

Una explained: 'Dating HIM is the right term because that's how it was, it wasn't a throuple. We had a lovely relationship.'

As Joanne quipped: 'you were hoodwinked into a throuple', Una agreed: 'I was!'

It comes as David is currently embroiled in a wave of mounting backlash for his comments on I'm A Celebrity: All Stars.

The former boxer has raised eyebrows since the get-go with his fiercely competitive nature, with fans accusing him of 'fat-shaming' Gemma Collins and 'bullying' Adam Thomas.

While he enraged viewers on Tuesday, after he bragged that girlfriend Sian is a 'lovely girl' with the personality of 'a proper ugly bird'.

Explaining his 'ugly duckling theory' to his campmates, David claimed that less attractive girls have to work on having a 'nicer' and being 'more personable' in order to get noticed, while 'most super pretty girls are just idiots'.

When asked by Beverly Callard if this meant handsome men had 's**t personalities', he admitted he 'doesn't really pay attention to guys'.

A gobsmacked Scarlett Moffatt chimed in with: 'You can't say that, David! You can't say that', laughing in disbelief, with viewers at home branding him a 'misogynist' and 'pathetic' over the sexist comments.
