'And then the two men had gone back into the flat and we'd gone out there, me and my mum and my mum's trying to put the towels on the wounds I'm standing over this man's body.
'I was in hysterics. I was like, I was in shock. I couldn't feel the tears running down my face. You know when something's hurting you that bad and you can't comprehend what's actually happening.
'That was one of, and I didn't know it at the time, but I never knew that that would be something that changed the course of my life forever.'
For the two years that followed, Tyler couldn't leave his bedroom and was convinced something bad would happen to him.
He explained: 'I didn't come out of my bedroom. I was like, absolutely not. I developed like quite severe OCD. I would have to like, there would be certain little things throughout my day. I couldn't open the blinds for one and my bedroom was complete total darkness. Couldn't use a knife and fork at dinner. I couldn't walk on that side of the road if ever I did have to go out the house.
'I had to, it sounds so stupid, but I had to make my bed. And if I didn't make my bed, there was this ideology that something bad would happen to me. I was petrified I was going to die. Like at every circumstance, couldn't watch anything, action like sort of fighting or anything on the telly.
'I was convinced if you drunk a bit of alcohol around me, that's it, you're going to kill me. I was literally petrified for my life. Missed out in school and everything like that. And it was one of those low, low points to the point that I, I just couldn't handle it anymore.'
Tyler continued by revealing how he reached his lowest point when he was 17 and found himself standing in the middle of a bridge nearby to his home.

He said: 'At the A217 where I lived, there was this bridge that goes across and I just left the house and I went on this walk. My phone had died and then I got to the middle of this bridge and Pete, I promise you now, I was standing there and I was like, "I don't know what I'm doing here". Like, I don't know what I'm doing here because when it consumes your mind so much, you're like, oh, well, if I just, you know, maybe what am I gonna jump? Am I gonna do that?'
Pete interjected, asking: 'Did you leave the house with the intention of going to the bridge? Or it's just you found yourself there and a thought entered?'
Tyler continued: 'I found myself there and a thought happened there and then and I was like, this is one of the lowest points. I don't know what to do. I was begging for like a helping hand, but my mum where she wanted to talk about things all the time, I didn't want to talk about nothing… I became such a recluse, not only in life, but also within my own head.'
