Georgie, who is best known as a regular co-host on Ten's The Project, will be sitting in the KIIS FM breakfast chair from Monday, News.com.au reported.

She will be joined by Mike Etheridge (Mike E) and newsreader Brooklyn Ross, who have been holding the fort since the Kyle & Jackie O Show was pulled from the airwaves in March.

However, the publication reported that industry insiders are suggesting that Georgie could be auditioning for a more permanent role.

Georgie could be a perfect pick given her association with ARN, where she currently co-hosts the Two Good Sports podcast alongside Abbey Gelmi.

The announcement comes after Georgie was revealed as the new host of 's weekend news bulletin in December.

Georgie replaced veteran newsreader Chris Bath, who announced in October that she was leaving the network after a decade.

'Her breadth of experience across The Project, ABC, Flash, Fox Sports and national radio has seen her bring intelligence, authenticity and heart to stories, major sporting moments and some of the biggest entertainment stories around the globe,' Channel Ten said in a statement.

'From 2026, Georgie will bring that same depth, curiosity and editorial expertise to 10 News every weekend, leading the bulletin as it continues to deliver trusted news and insightful storytelling to Australians nationwide.'

Aside from her new role, Georgie is also a reporter for the network's current affairs show 10News+.

Paramount Australia's vice president of news Martin White said the network was 'lucky' to have a talent such as Tunny on the books.

Meanwhile, Jackie's sensational on-air exit in February was the beginning of the end for one of Australia's most enduring radio teams.

KIIS FM owners ARN then announced that Henderson had told them she 'could not continue to work with Mr Kyle Sandilands', after their now notorious argument was broadcast during The Kyle & Jackie O Show.

The split led to ARN terminating Jackie, before ripping up Kyle's contract two weeks later.

The former radio partners both launched separate lawsuits against ARN last month.
