Tommy Lees Shocking Past as an Escort Revealed

has opened up about his time working as a male escort in his younger years before finding success with his rock band Motley Crue.

The 63-year-old musician – –  revealed all about his time accompanying older women on dates during a candid chat on Dax Shepard's podcast Armchair Expert.

'We all had moved into an apartment together, and then we [met] this lady who’s the madame,' he explained about how the opportunity to date older women for money arose.

Lee, whose band was formed in 1981, said the dates ranged from just having dinner to having sex.

'Sometimes [I would] go and just sit and have dinner with them,' he shared. 'Just dinner, literally. [The women] just [wanted] company just to dine with. But you know what? I think I was lucky too, because a couple of the older women that I got, they were actually really fun.'

In return, the rock star earned $500 – a steep improvement from the $20/week he and his bandmates received from their manager at the time. 

Lee, who shares sons Brandon, 30, and Dylan, 28, with 59-year-old Anderson, said he went on 'nine or 10' dates as an escort.

This isn't the first time the star has been candid about his former profession.
