A This Morning star has turned down Strictly Come Dancing and has revealed why he is avoiding going on the glitzy show.
TV presenter, Jeff Brazier, 42, has revealed he would ‘stay in his lane’ and reject the offer to compete if he was ever asked to star on the ITV show, according to The Sun.
Despite his son Bobby, 21, impressing the nation on the dancefloor last year and reaching the final with Dianne Buswell, Jeff has no interest in following his footsteps.
The proud dad admitted he didn’t want ‘steal Bobby’s thunder’ and is happy to ‘stay in his own lane’.
He told The Sun: ‘Bobby’s been there, it’s his thing, I feel like to step into that world would almost be to sort of steal his thunder slightly.’

‘I’ve got plenty of things that I really enjoy doing, I’ve got lots of exciting projects moving forward and I’ll stay in my lane, I think’, he added.
‘But I don’t think that going on Strictly would be right for me right now.’
But Jeff’s avoidance for the show does not mean he is apposed to starring on other shows as the duo are set to appear on the beloved Channel 4 show, Gogglebox, with his younger son Freddie, 19.
‘The trio have great banter and it will be great to treat Bobby’s huge fanbase to his rapport with Freddie,’ a source told The Sun.
‘He has really propelled his family to stardom since coming runner-up on Strictly.
‘Jeff adores working with his sons and the brothers are really close, so it could lead to more projects together.’
As EastEnders star Bobby and his dad sent fans into frenzy when appearing on Channel 4’s Stand Up 2 Cancer one-off earlier in the autumn, the TV source added viewers will be treated on more insights into the ‘Brazier boys’ homelife’.
Meanwhile Freddie has been following his family’s footsteps and is set to appear in Celebrity Race Around the World on BBC1, and mirrored his older brother while also taking to the modelling industry.

The sibling are the sons of TV presenter Jeff and the late Big Brother star Jade Goody, who tragically passed away in March 2009 aged 27 due to cervical cancer.
TV bosses and producers have been lining up for Bobby following his very successful stint – despite not lifting the glitterball – on Strictly Come Dancing, where he was partnered up with dancing pro Dianne Buswell.
The actor has been booked and busty and just landed a major new TV role, alongside some acting legends.
The rising star has starred in EastEnders as Freddie Slater for two years but he is now pursuing other ventures.
