Fast forward 14 years, and Swift's singing a very different tune.
For the star, now 36, has been widely reported to have chosen 's famous Madison Square Garden as the venue for her upcoming wedding to NFL champ – a decision that, if true, could prove to be the nail in the coffin for some increasingly fatigued fans.
The rumor goes that the happy couple, who started dating in summer 2023, will invite more than a thousand family, friends and celebrity pals to the 20,000-seat arena on July 3. Guests are expected to include Swift's besties, singer and stylist Ashley Avignone, as well as Kelce's City Chiefs teammate and his wife Brittany.

'The strong rumor is the location will be in New York,' the insider said. 'However, according to one of the few people the couple are believed to have shared their wedding secret with, New York is a distraction.
'They've tossed around tons of options since they got engaged last August. They came up with some amazing destination locations but decided their privacy could be easily invaded.
'Finally, they decided the only place that will guarantee them the most security is High Watch [which is the name of Swift's cliff-top mansion].'

Another source added: 'Rhode Island isn't completely out of the picture. Before Travis has to return to his NFL commitments, they are also looking to treat the entire [July 4] weekend and the weeks before the end of July as a continuous celebration and are looking to have some more intimate get-togethers with close family in New York and Rhode Island and, of course, Kansas City. They are looking to have a little bit of a wedding tour.
'She wants it to feel truly unique and unlike anything she's done before - a one-of-a-kind event that reflects her style and vision in a way only Taylor can do it.'
Regardless of how the nuptials play out, one thing is for sure - 'expect a massive party.'
'Travis and Taylor enjoy having cocktails and dancing and having a good time, so everyone's expecting a late-night party into the wee hours of the morning,' said another insider.
