The singer and actress became a grandmother in March at the age of 44 when her eldest son Corey, 21 – who she shares with ex boyfriend Darren Day – and his partner Erin Mitchell, 20, welcomed their son Colton.
The happy arrival came just two months after Suzanne suddenly split from her partner of 11 years, businessman Sam Greenfield with whom she shares ten-year-old son Rafferty.

Suzanne has admitted she was in shock when son Corey told her that he and Erin were expecting as she was still weighing up whether to have a third child of her own.
'Sam and I were still talking about it, so it was getting my head around that being off the cards,' she told the Mirror.
Suzanne hasn't revealed the reason behind her split from Sam but admitted: 'It's been tough. I'm just trying to navigate the loss of what I didn't think I'd ever lose'.

Suzanne announced she had secretly split from her fiancé Sam Greenfield after 11 years together in an emotional Instagram post in January (pictured together in 2022)
'Hopefully, with time, I'll heal and co-parenting with Sam can run smoothly. We're doing our best to make sure it can. I'm enjoying my family, even if it looks a little different now.'
One huge positive to come out of her grandson's arrival is the reunion of Suzanne and her ex Darren, who are back on friendly terms after years of hurt.

'They do say time heals,' explained Suzanne, who last saw Darren in person at their son Corey's 18th birthday. 'We've been on good terms for a long time now and still message each other regarding Corey. Now, with the new baby, we're in touch a lot more.
'I was really proud of us to get to that point at the hospital. It was really special to be able to share that moment together, as Corey's mum and dad.'
Darren and Suzanne had a fling back in 2003 while co-starring in the touring theatre production of Summer Holiday, despite both being engaged to other people.
Darren and Suzanne ended up dating for around 18 months and were engaged, but split just three months after the birth of Corey.
