During their Rome premiere, Tom's sweet nickname for his wife Zendaya was revealed after he called out for her.

While speaking with reporters on the red carpet about a nearby gelateria, Tom opted to use her middle name while getting her attention.

He called out, 'Maree, do you remember the name of that place?' - referring to what the ice cream place was called.

Zendaya - who was being interviewed further down the carpet - then responded, 'Giolitti's!'

She revealed to reporters in a separate clip from the exchange: 'That's where we're going after this.'

In addition to this, the happy couple have been sharing sweet moments on the red carpet together, from staring deeply into each others eyes, to holding hands, and sharing a laugh.

The pair have rarely discussed their relationship over the years, but last week confirmed that they are married after months of speculation.

In his Esquire UK interview, Tom ended months of speculation about the couple's marriage as he declared: 'I found my person, I'm the happiest I've ever been'.

Referencing a number of highly-realistic, AI-generated 'wedding' images of the couple that went viral on Instagram and TikTok, Tom was asked if any family members had thought they'd missed their actual wedding after seeing the pictures.

Tom answered: 'No, because they were all there... That's all you'll get on that', confirming that the nuptials did actually take place.

It comes after Zendaya's longtime stylist, Law Roach, first claimed Tom and Zendaya were married during an interview at the 2026 Actor Awards in Los Angeles in February.

The pair have rarely discussed their relationship over the years, but last week confirmed that they are married after months of speculation (an AI generated snap of the pair on their 'wedding day' that went viral eariler this year)

The stylist, 47, casually dropped in the news by saying, 'The wedding has already happened. You missed it!', but the couple declined to clarify at the time.

Zendaya first debuted her engagement ring, designed by London-based jeweller Jessica McCormack, at the 2025 Golden Globes.

Talking about their relationship, Tom said: 'Our business can present very stressful situations, and it's really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time.

'We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it's like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don't understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else.

'So, for me, I found my person. She's my best friend, and I'm the happiest I have ever been when I'm with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.'

Despite their A-list profiles and a combined net worth of £60M, the pair appear to live a very normal life away from the cameras.

The couple enjoy a low-key life in London and have never been ones to gossip about their lives.

While many of the peers are often spotted attending glitzy parties in Los Angeles and rubbing shoulders with A-listers, Tom and Zendaya can be found enjoying casual strolls around Richmond Park and grabbing dinner at local eateries.

The two often split their time quietly between Tom’s $3.7million home in Richmond, southwest London, and Zendaya’s residence in California.

Last Christmas, they enjoyed a very ordinary festive occasion with Tom and his family.

They spent the festive season with Tom's comedian father Dominic, his photographer mum Nicola and his three brothers in London.

The couple headed up to Leicester to take in a performance of The Sound of Music at Leicester's Curve theatre.

After their theatre trip, Tom and Zendaya

The following day they joined Tom's family for a fun-filled day out at : Live Experience in London, as well as taking their dogs for a stroll around Richmond Park.

Snaps of Zendaya and Tom's low-key meal at Everest Lounge in Market Harborough over the weekend quickly made it to social media, with the restaurant owner revealing his staff were 'starstruck'.

'We were fully booked for Saturday so we were exceptionally pleased that we were able to accommodate them for the evening and that's where everything started,' owner Pradip Karanjit told the BBC.

'My staff were absolutely starstruck and we were, in a way, in panic mode but throughout the service they remained really professional.'

Sharing pictures of the couple on the restaurant's Instagram, Mr Karanjit wrote: 'What an honour for Market Harborough!

'We were absolutely delighted to welcome Tom Holland and Zendaya to our town and to have the opportunity to serve such wonderful Hollywood stars at Everest Lounge.

'Moments like this remind us how special our local hospitality is - world-class warmth right here at home. A night we won't forget! Huge thanks to our team at Everest Lounge for their professionalism.'

The couple had been in the area to watch The Sound of Music at Leicester's Curve theatre.

'It's the second year Tom has been to see one of our shows. We were very excited to see them,' a spokesperson for the Curve theatre said.

While they are worth a combined net worth of £60M, they appear to live very normal lives away from the camera (pictured with Tom's parents over Christmas)

They were then spotted out at The Traitors: Live Experience with Tom's parents Nikki Holland and Dominic Holland.

They were also joined by Tom's twin brothers Sam and Harry, 26, and their girlfriends Clark and Zara, youngest brother Paddy Holland, 21, and pals Harrison Osterfield and Tuwaine Barrett.

Sam also shared a recap of the family night out, captioning his Instagram post: 'My traitor twin. Had a great time at @thetraitorslive yesterday.

'You can't trust anyone when you enter the round table… not even family.'

Yet family were reportedly involved in their engagement, with Tom said to have asked permission from Zendaya's loved ones before popping the question.

Sources told The Daily Mail that Tom took an 'old-fashioned' approach and got permission before he asked for his Spider-Man: Homecoming co-star's hand in marriage.

'The proposal was sweet and romantic and happened over the holidays,' the insider dished. 'He did it the old-fashioned way and got permission from her folks. Everyone is thrilled.'

The source continued: 'They are the most normal couple at home, and she is ready to spend her life with him. She has gotten everything she dreamed of and marrying Tom and starting a family is next on her list.'

Whispers about the couple’s relationship status first began a year earlier at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, when the 29-year-old actress debuted a dazzling diamond on her left-hand ring finger.

A few months later, Tom addressed the rumours in a charming moment during a panel event.

When an off-camera reporter referred to Zendaya as his ‘girlfriend’ while mentioning meeting his daughter, Tom couldn’t help but correct him with a laugh.

‘Fiancée,’ he clarified.

Tom previously spoke about his privacy with Zendaya, saying their quietness was intentional during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in 2023.

He said: 'Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible.

'We don't think that we owe it to anyone, it's our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.'

While they rarely discuss their relationship, the pair did hit back at the constant chatter about their height difference and the absurd notion that kissing must be 'difficult' for the pair.

The couple and Spider-Man co-stars appeared on SiriusXM Town Hall where they had a discussion about 'ridiculous' stereotypes for tall women and short men.

Tom stands at 5'8 while Zendaya is 5'10.

The on and offscreen couple were joined by their co-star Jacob Batalon as they sat down with host Jessica Shaw at the New York based studio.

'Zendaya. I wanted to ask. And actually, and Tom, I wanted to ask you guys because in the first, in, in Far from Home when MJ and Peter kiss and Zendaya, you're taller than Tom and it became this, this thing,' Shaw said as the pair laughed.

Tom humorously interjected: 'Not that much taller. Let's just, let's put this out there. Maybe like an inch or two at best.

'It's not like, people say like— "how did you guys kiss? It must have been soo difficult",' he recalled which drew a laugh from Zendaya.

Jessica clarified that she thinks the gendered view of height in society is both 'misogynistic' and 'problematic' and asked them to weigh in on the 'assumption' that men should be taller than women.

Zendaya agreed that it was a 'screwed up' mentality. 'Yeah, this is normal too,' the beauty said of her being taller than Tom, which he agreed with: 'Yeah it's a stupid assumption.'

'My mum is taller than my dad. My mom is taller than everyone,' the Euphoria star went on to say, while Tom called the whole subject 'ridiculous.'

The couple first sparked dating rumours in 2016 when they were cast alongside each other in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

At the time, insiders claimed the young co-stars had grown close during filming, bonding over shared experiences navigating sudden superstardom.

While they rarely discuss their relationship, the pair did hit back at the constant chatter about their height difference and the absurd notion that kissing must be 'difficult' for the pair

In 2017, reports surfaced that the pair had gone on vacation together, though both were quick to shut down romance claims - Zendaya cheekily tweeting that if they had gone on a trip, she must have forgotten the invite.

Still, their chemistry during press tours was impossible to ignore.

From playful X banter to sweet birthday tributes - including Tom once calling Zendaya ‘Mate’ in a post that fans still reference - speculation simmered for years.

They continued to insist they were ‘just friends,’ even as they were repeatedly spotted together at family gatherings and low-key outings.

Everything changed in July 2021 when paparazzi captured the actors sharing a kiss inside a car in Los Angeles, finally confirming what fans had long suspected.

Shortly after, Tom made their relationship Instagram official with a birthday tribute to Zendaya, writing: ‘My MJ, have the happiest of birthdays,’ alongside a behind-the-scenes snap from set.

From there, their romance unfolded in carefully curated glimpses.

They attended weddings together, including a friend’s nuptials in 2021, and were later seen holding hands at events and on strolls through cities like New York and London.

Zendaya accompanied Tom to his family home in the UK, while he supported her at premieres, including Dune and Challengers, often opting to skip red carpets to keep the spotlight firmly on her.

Both Zendaya and Tom have been candid about the challenges of loving someone under a microscope.

Tom once explained that their relationship is something they consider ‘sacred,’ while Zendaya has spoken about learning to navigate fame from a young age and being intentional about what she shares.

‘Neither of us want to hide and not live our lives and do normal things, like go out for dinner, but at the same time, we want to protect our privacy,’ she previously told the Daily Mirror.

‘You have to accept that to a degree, some aspects of your privacy are going to be out of your control. But the parts that are in our control, we fiercely protect.'
