Stephanie Pratt Calls Brothers Mayoral Bid Stupid

Reality star  is asking not to make her brother their next mayor. 

 after losing his family's home in the  last year in a campaign touting him as incumbent  'worst nightmare.' 

The disaster was devastating for the entire Pratt family - not only was Spencer's residence destroyed, but his parents' home was also burnt down. 

While Spencer has been calling for accountability over the fire ever since, Stephanie tore into his campaign on X on Valentine's Day, calling a ballot cast for him a 'vote for stupidity.' 

'Spencer has done great work for the palisades. But LA does not need another unqualified and inexperienced mayor. A vote for him is a vote for stupidity,' she tweeted on Saturday. 

The duo have had a strained relationship for years, and in 2019 Stephanie said she was no longer on speaking terms with her brother and sister-in-law.

She called his campaign a 'vote for stupidity' in a scathing tweeted she made on Valentine's Day

'We are not on good terms. We are not on speaking terms. I do not consider them my family,' she told People of her brother and sister-in-law.

It's not entirely clear if they are no longer talking but Stephanie did recently praise her brother in his efforts advocating for their heartbroken community and calling for accountability.

'It wasn’t a natural disaster or something that was unavoidable. It was their fault, and we need the accountability we deserve.' Pratt did not reveal which party he was running for.

Pratt shared the news of his foray into politics with his 1.1m Instagram followers.

The Hills star stared intently at the camera as he theatrically held up his signed paperwork to run for LA mayor.

'Yes, it’s official. Papers are filed and campaign is open,' he captioned the post before directing his followers to his campaign website.

The home Pratt and his wife Heidi Montag lived in with their two sons in Pacific Palisades was incinerated in the devastating blazes.

Not only was the couple's residence destroyed, but Pratt's parents also lost their home to the fire.

Pratt shared a photo of the little that remained of his parent's house to his Instagram Stories.

'My parents house gone,' he wrote along with a string of crying emojis.
