Harmon, most famous for her role as the villainous Cathy Craig Lord in One Life to Live from 1976-1978, passed away on Saturday, May 9, her family confirmed in an online .
The actress, a resident of , famously earned a Daytime nomination in 1978 in the Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series for her role as the evil Lord.
Harmon was notably the fifth star to take on the role, following the footsteps of Catherine Burns, Amy Levitt, Jane Alice Brandon and Dorrie Kavanaugh, and played Lord until the character's final appearance in November 1978.
She portrayed Chris Kirby on How to Survive a Marriage for its full run from 1974 to 1975.
Per THR, Harmon appeared on Broadway 21 times over nearly 50 years, debuting in a revival of Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman’s You Can’t Take It With You.

Harmon later made a sensational return to One Life to Live in the 1990s to play an attorney representing Erika Slezak’s Viki Lord.
