They say that opposites attract and at first glance nothing could seem more contrary than Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart.
However the rap legend, 54, and lifestyle guru, 84, are firm friends and have been for 18 years since they first met on Martha's show back in 2008.
The pair are currently having a whale of a time at the Winter Olympics in Italy, commentating on the events, soaking up the atmosphere of Milan and even feeding each other ice cream.
'I've never met anyone like Martha Stewart,' Snoop said in a 2016 Rolling Stone interview.
'When we come together, it's a natural combination of love, peace, and harmony.'
After taking part in an episode of Comedy Central's Roast with Justin Bieber, the pair's relationship blossomed.
Since then they have collaborated on multiple projects together, hosted their own show and planned surprise birthday gifts for each other, but where did it all begin?

The duo originally met back in 2008 when Snoop appeared as a guest on Martha's daytime cooking show The Martha Stewart Show.
The two hit it off immediately while making mashed potatoes, with the musician teaching the businesswoman slang like 'foshizzle'.
Reflecting on their first meeting back in 2019, Martha told NBC 'What an odd couple we were'.
Snoop added: 'Martha kind of pioneered this as far as letting rappers become part of daytime television because we were not actually accepted, but we fit right in. Cooking with Martha just seemed like a nice place to be.'
A year later in 2009, Snoop returned to Martha's kitchen for a Christmas special as the pair whipped up a batch of brownies together.
Audiences were left in hysterics as Snoop joked they seemed to be 'missing the most important part of the brownies' as he alluded to adding marijuana.
Martha cheekily added they would add 'the stuff' later.
The brownies left a lasting impression on Snoop, as he tweeted ahead of Christmas a year later.

Then in 2014, Snoop shared that Martha had inspired his candle brand as he once again took to Twitter to give him credit for her creative ideas.
In 2015, the pair once again made a public appearance together on the Comedy Central Roast Of Justin Bieber, and it was here their friendship was cemented.
Admitting she hadn't watched a roast before agreeing to do it, Martha mused: 'My publicist said 'this is a little bit out of your milieu!''
Yet she was determined to give it a go, and she soon had the audience in hysterics, while also inadvertently getting high alongside Snoop who was smoking marijuana.
Snoop said Martha: 'stole the show,' adding, 'In that moment, I knew I wanted to be alongside this lady for the rest of my life'.
He said in her self-titled 2024 Netflix documentary: 'We just so happened to be sitting side by side, and my second-hand smoke created an idea that maybe we should hang out and talk about things.'
Since this moment the pair have collaborated together on numerous projects, including shows together and multiple business ventures.
In 2016 they began hosting their VH1 cooking show Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party which saw the pair getting up to all sorts of cooking challenges with different celebrity guests.
The show ran for two seasons until 2018 before a spin off competition version, Martha & Snoop's Potluck Party Challenge, was also commissioned until 2020.
Inspiring Snoop's love of food, in 2018 he released his own cookbook, From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes From Tha Boss Dogg's Kitchen, and Martha penned the introduction.
She wrote: 'Working with Snoop in the kitchen has been a remarkable experience for me.
'Not only has he taught me new lingo and cultural references, he surprised me with his unique cooking techniques and recipes.'
Speaking to DailyMail.com, Martha revealed that she recently visited the rapper's home in L.A., and had she sent him a pressure cooker for his birthday.

Over the years the pair have gone on to feature in multiple TV appearances together.

Asked what alcoholic beverage best describes Martha the rapper chose vodka, yet Martha disagreed, insisting she would be a 'Martha-rita'.
Martha launched The Martha Stewart podcast in 2022, and of course it was only right that Snoop was her first guest.
The star previously told Insider that he was her 'dream guest'.
She explained: 'Snoop was really good 'cause he was really talkative and I love his voice," she told the outlet.

Later that year, Snoop once again credited Martha for helping to launch his new ice-cream range at Walmart.
The Dr Bombay Ice Cream - named after the rapper's Non-Fungible Token (NFT) character - included seven different flavours such as Bonus Track Brownie, Cocoa Cream Cookie Dream and Iced Out Orange Dream - creations he said were inspired by his marijuana induced 'munchies.'
He told TMZ: 'I give two people credit for where I’m at right now. Master P showed me the business. But Martha Stewart showed me how to take it to another level.
'She was always explaining to me about being in different department stores, having a cookbook, expanding my business, doing different things to diversify my portfolio.
'She showed me how to excel at what I'm doing. Master P put me through college but I believe that Martha gave me that hands-on experience.'

And this year's Olympics isn't the first Snoop and Martha have attended together after they were snapped enjoying the dressage team Grand Prix Special at the Paris games in 2024, where the pair were fully kitted out to take to the saddle if needed.
Martha also celebrated her 83rd birthday at the games, as Snoop teamed up with Cookie Monster to present her with a special cake to mark the occasion.
Snoop recruited the blue muppet to help him surprise his longtime pal with a cone-shaped cake made out of macarons the day before her birthday.
And the two are once again living it up at the winter games in Italy with the pair doing the NBC commentary for the events.
Sharing a snap of the pair stood together with their hands in prayer, Martha penned: 'A beautiful moment in Milano where @snoopdog and I had some moments to reflect on the beauty of the @DuomodiMilano and the people filled square'.
