Flirty, cocky and not shy to flash his cash, from Day 1 of MAFS, Scott McCristal was the producers' pet who they could rely on to deliver TV gold.
But as is often the case with the reality show's biggest personalities, his past is not exactly squeaky clean.
According to court documents obtained by the Mail, McCristal faced a string of charges related to his car sales business at Southport Magistrates' Court on the Gold Coast in March 2024.
While no conviction was recorded, McCristal copped to the offences and his total of 28 charges resulted in an eye-watering $25,000 fine.
His dodgy dealings are not the only secret resurfacing from his past. Last week, we revealed McCristal operated an X-rated account several years ago.
And in another blindside, McCristal's ex-wife is now coming out of the woodwork to claim the former couple might still be legally married.

Daily Mail found photos of McCristal's 2019 wedding in the U.S. to Californian Marisa McElroy on the social media page of a diamond retailer.
Taking to TikTok last week, McElroy offered her theory for why McCristal had not yet mentioned on the show that he had an ex-wife.
'You didn't hear ex-wife,' she claimed, 'because I'm still legally his wife.'
Her sister Shelby then chimed in, 'Sister of the bride here! They are still legally married in the States.'

The Mail has been unable to establish definitively whether McElroy and McCristal are, in fact, still legally married.
However, it should be noted that McCristal's TV 'marriage' to on-screen wife Gia Fleur is not legally binding - none of the MAFS unions are - so we are not accusing him of bigamy or anything like that.
And for what it's worth, sources close to McCristal - who previously starred in Ten's Blind Date in 2018, and Channel Seven shows Holy Moley in 2021 and Million Dollar Island in 2023 - say that he believes the marriage was legally dissolved everywhere and received an email from an American court to that effect.
Less than a year after starring in Million Dollar Island - where he competed for a cash prize in Malaysia against 100 other contestants - he found himself in trouble with the Office of Fair Trading.

McCristal's brother Cameron (right) also has a public profile - or at least he used to. He was something of a Daily Mail regular during his on-and-off romance with Big Brother star Skye Wheatley (left) between 2015 and 2017, and appeared often in her Instagram posts and vlogs
McCristal describes himself in his YouTube bio as an 'entrepreneur, longevity junkie, finance specialist and early morning savage'.
