Samuel Outgrows Jennifer Garner on LA Outing

's son Samuel nearly stood taller than her during a recent outing in .

The 54-year-old actress and teen, whom she shares with , were spotted grabbing beverages and stopping by a bank in the city's Brentwood neighborhood.

Missing from the scene were Garner and Affleck's two older children – Violet, 20, and Fin, 17.

The Alias alum was clad in a baby blue crew neck sweater, light wash jeans, and white sneakers. 

For his part, Samuel was equally casual in a grey zip-up hoodie and black sweatpants.

While Garner stands at 5'8", her son will soon tower over her if he grows as tall as his dad, who is 6'3".

Garner paid tribute to her ex-husband on Father's Day in a thoughtful Instagram post.

She shared never-before-seen snaps of the Oscar winner with their kids and remembered her late father William.
