Samantha Armytage Stuns at Tropfest with Margot Robbie

Samantha Armytage was keeping some A-list company on Sunday evening.

The television host was on the red carpet for the opening night of the Tropfest short film festival in Sydney, where she was among esteemed guests such as Margot Robbie and Sarah Snook

The 49-year-old held her own among the glitterati, showing off her trimmed-down figure in a muted gold ensemble.

Sam paired a one-shoulder, asymmetrical top with a pair of loose-fit trousers in the same fabric.

She added a pair of heeled sandals, and carried a straw envelope clutch with gold hardware.

The Today show host completed her look with a pair of hoop earrings and a stack of bangles.

Sam chose a rosy makeup look with a pink lipstick, and wore her blonde hair down in soft waves.

Also on the red carpet was Apple Cider Vinegar star Alycia Debnam-Carey, who looked glamorous in a black midi-dress.

Good Charlotte rockers, brothers Joel and Benji Madden, were among the guests and kept things edgy in all-black ensembles.

Having a ball were Richard Wilkins and Karl Stefanovic, who clowned around together against the media wall.

A slew of Channel Nine stars made a party of it, with Sarah Abo, Sylvia Jeffreys, David Campbell and Belinda Russell meeting up for a night out at the prestigious film event.

The Block star Scott Cam put down the tools for an evening of culture, and looked casually chic in a blue shirt and black trousers.

Bryan Brown and Rachel Ward enjoyed a date night at the festival, with the legendary Aussie actors opting for boho looks.

The Bachelor star Matty 'J' Johnson went solo, choosing a black and white ensemble for the occasion.

It comes as Sam Armytage has had quite the glow-up in recent months and looks set to keep glowing into 2026.

After returning to screens as host of Nine's The Golden Bachelor in 2025, Samantha also recently made her highly anticipated return to Today, after a series of guest stints over the past year.

The one-time 'queen' of brekkie TV was on the couch for the festive season while regular hosts Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo departed for a lengthy Christmas break.

Samantha, who rose to fame thanks to her high-profile gig as host of Sunrise, sent shockwaves through the industry when she announced she was leaving the top-rating brekkie show and the network in 2021.

After jumping ship to Nine in 2024, there was much speculation she would replace Sarah Abo.

Samantha brushed off the suggestion, telling 2GB's Ben Fordham in October that her hosting stint on The Golden Bachelor was her focus.

The Golden Bachelor host, who announced her separation from the equestrian businessman at the end of last year, appeared on The Jess Rowe Big Talk Show, where she was asked if she thought she would find love again.

'Of course I'll find love again,' she said, before bursting out into fits of laughter.

'I mean, I'm keeping my options open,' she cheekily added.

She continued to assure fans, saying: 'I am fine. Don't worry about me, I'm having fun as always.'

The Nine star went on to hint that, while she knows she'll get back on the horse, she will be picky with the men she dates in the future.

'I will find love again for sure. I don't know when. When the time is right, he will arrive. And I'll be very good at choosing this time.'
