The TV personality, 33, has been required to get builders into his £1million Chelsea home, which he previously shared with ex Zara, 29.
Sam and Zara dated for five years, but following their split in December 2024, Zara moved out of the property, and is now dating star , 34.
Now, Sam has shared that he is having to 'redo his kitchen for the second time in two years' due to Zara's initials being carved into the wooden drawers and bronze handles.
Speaking to pal on their podcast Staying Relevant, Sam explained: 'The builders are coming back'.
'Sam has been renovating his house for five years and it looks lovely but I don't know what it is but your builders are moving in. Your kitchen has been done twice in like two years', said Pete.

Sam replied: 'I had to redo the kitchen, you know I had to.
'It was a lovely kitchen at the start but I had a relationship finish and I had names carved into the wood. It wasn't my idea, it wasn't!'
'His initials and his partners were engraved into all the door handles', Pete added.
Sam continued: 'Basically they were also on the drawers, so I had to change the kitchen.
'It wasn't my idea I want to stress that, but they chiselled our initials in so I couldn't like cover it up. But yeah I have to change my kitchen again.'
On Sam and Zara's home Instagram account they previously shared renovation updates with fans including the personalised details in their kitchen.
They wrote: 'How totally gorgeous are these handles. We love this shade of bronze too… it has so much depth. Plus… check pic 2. can you notice anything?', hinting at the 'S' and 'Z' engraved into the door handles.
The former couple's open plan kitchen features a large stone island in the center of the room with large grey painted cupboards.
Inside their larder cupboard, the pair had three draws personalised, one with Sam's name on the front, another with Zara's name engraved and the bottom drawer with dried goods printed on.
Following the pairs split, Zara moved on with One Direction star Louis and went official with the singer in March 2025.
It's understood that Zara moved into multi-millionaire Louis's north London mansion, having initially moved back into her parents' house after leaving the Fulham home she shared with ex-boyfriend Sam Thompson.

In August last year, insiders told The Sun: 'They're smitten and she has been spending all of her time at his place, she's pretty much moved in. Zara has even started making her social media videos from there instead of her parents' [home].
'She had been back at her family home after her split from her ex...
'But Louis's home and her parents' house are nowhere near each other, so it made sense that she is spending more time at his.
'They're in the honeymoon stage and want to be with each other as much as possible when they're not working. Zara spent loads of time travelling with Louis this summer and now they're back in the UK she's using his place as a base a lot of the time.'

While discussing their plans for Valentine's Day, Pete asked Sam whether he'd said 'I love you' to Talitha, and he confirmed he had.
He said: 'Yeah, oh wait that's news! That's news! Yeah I have yeah. It was actually classic, I was so awkward, it was on the sofa.
'We were on the sofa and I've basically known for a bit but I just thought "I don't want to say it because it's too early" and all that c**p.
