Fans were anticipating that the eldest Beckham brothers would both be in attendance at the prestigious fashion event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
However, it was only Romeo, 23, who graced the steps of the Met, with Brooklyn absent for the second year in a row despite typically being a regular attendee.
In 2024, Brooklyn attended the event solo while his wife spent quality time with her late grandmother, who was unwell at the time.
Prior to this, the couple had attended together every year from 2021.
But this year it was Romeo's turn to take the spotlight as he was invited to the night by British heritage brand, .

This year it was Romeo's turn to take the spotlight as he was invited to the night by British heritage brand, Burberry (pictured with Daniel Lee and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley)

Romeo made a splash during his debut appearance alongside supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who is an ambassador for the brand.
They were joined on the red carpet by Chief Creative Officer of Burberry, Daniel Lee.
Romeo cut a cool figure in a double-breasted jacket with leather lapels, teamed with a matching shirt and tie in the same fabric.
Rosie wore a dark brown dress that cinched at the waist to emphasize her minuscule waist.
The ruched skirt clung to her frame and contained a thigh-high slit at the front, while she accessorised the look with a sparkling silver necklace and matching earrings.
He was no doubt relieved to dodge the awkward red carpet encounter, as the brothers haven't spoken for more than a year amid a family feud.

Shortly after his appearance, Romeo received a show of support from his brother Cruz, 21, who posted a picture of his appearance on his Instagram Story.
Sharing a screen grab of Romeo stood next to Rosie with the Rascal Flatts song, Life Is A Highway, he wrote: 'There he is!'
Romeo was in New York at the weekend where he attended one of the pre-parties for the event, which is one of his brother Brooklyn's favourite of the year.
In the lead up to the event, it was not known if Brooklyn and Nicola were attending and neither had posted on Instagram over the weekend.

Expectedly, Brooklyn remained silent as his siblings rushed to social media to wish their dad David a happy 51st birthday on Saturday.
Back in January the wannabe chef announced his disassociation from his famous family – declaring he was no longer part of 'Brand Beckham' and insisting his parents and their other children Romeo, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14, are 'performative'.
In an apparent dig at Brooklyn, his siblings joined their mum Victoria to surprise David on his big day with a joint and very unlikely family gift, chickens.
Taking to Instagram Posh, 52, shared a clip of the former footballer as he met the birds for the first time and settled them into their coop on the grounds of the family's £15million Cotswolds estate.
In the sun-soaked video David wore a cowboy hat as he removed his new feathery friends from their boxes with a huge smile on his face
From behind the camera Victoria gushed: 'It's David's birthday and this is me and the kids bought him, from the boys, they're so pretty!'
She captioned the post: 'Happy Birthday, we love you so much!!'
Romeo also took to Instagram with a sweet tribute as he shared two childhood snaps with his dad.
He penned: 'Happy birthday dad, love you so much, thank u for everything you do,' and 'My best mate'.
While David's youngest son Cruz shared two snaps to his Instagram Story showing him and his dad on a yacht as he wrote 'Happy birthday I love you xxx.'
Harper followed her brothers with a sweet post which read: 'Happy birthday to the best daddy in the whole world.

'I honestly could never ask for a better role model too, you are always here for me and I will always be here for you too anytime anywhere have the best day ever, you deserve everything.'
David was previously gifted chickens as a Christmas present by his wife before setting up a hen pen for the new animals on their sprawling estate.
It comes shortly after Victoria addressed the feud with Brooklyn directly for the first time after his explosive statement about their estrangement.
She said: 'I think that we've always... We love our children so much. We've always tried to be the best parents that we can be.
'And you know, we've been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we've ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that's all I really want to say about it'.
David and Victoria haven't spoken to Brooklyn since last May, when he and Nicola snubbed the former footballer's 50th birthday celebrations.
Brooklyn and Nicola's lawyers wrote to the Beckhams' legal team demanding that they only converse through them.
Shortly before Christmas, Brooklyn blocked his parents on Instagram, and in January, he posted a brutal, bombshell six-page letter on the social media platform.
He claimed David and Victoria controlled him for most of his life, tried to split him and Nicola up and left him embarrassed when his mother danced 'inappropriately' with him during his first dance at his wedding.
Speaking about all four of her children earlier in the interview, Victoria added that 'being a parent of young adult children and adult children, gosh, I mean, it's very different from having little children'.
'I think that we're trying to do the best we can,' adding that the negative press in the past three months has not affected her fashion and beauty business.
'I think that ultimately people are buying my product because the product is really good. I don't think they're buying my eyeliner just because it's me,' she said.
