Rod Stewart, 81, Shows Off Impressive High Kicks!

He's never let a tight trouser get in the way of an engertic performance. 

And at 81, it seems Sir is just as flexible as ever as he gamely kicked his leg up during his appearance at Jazz and Heritage Festival on Sunday. 

His energetic performance reminded fans of how the football-loving singer liked to show off his ball skills during his gigs in the 70s and 80s.  

The rocker cut a stylish figure as he took to the stage at the Fair Grounds Race Course in a snazzy gold blazer and trademark tight trousers.

Rod completed the look with an open white shirt and gold trainers while styling his blonde locks into spikes. 

He oozed confidence as he belted out his biggest hits in front of the huge crowd joined by a live band and gorgeous backing dancers.  

It comes after Rod's wife , 55, has joked she 'deserves a medal' for their 26-year relationship as she marked their anniversary. 

The model opened up on her marriage to the Maggie May rock star, and revealed the secret to their long lasting romance in a new interview this week. 

She told Best magazine: 'Yes, 26 years! I deserve a medal, don't I? Only joking.

'We don't take each other for granted and make sure we have date nights together - dinner, the theatre or whatever, doing the school run together and having an 'a deux' coffee on the way home, long romantic walks together...

She added: 'We flirt with each other and make each other laugh.'

Penny explained that they try to 'keep the intimacy alive' when they get moments alone, and they love to mark their relationship milestones.

She continued: 'We're big on celebrating our anniversaries and really spoil each other.

'For instance, for our last wedding anniversary, we took a very romantic train trip from Paris to Portofino because Rod proposed to me in Paris and we got married in Portofino.
