The nine-time Award winner, 38, who last dropped her ANTI album in 2016, took to Instagram over the weekend to tease that she is working on music again.

The Diamonds hitmaker was seen working into the early hours as she shared a new 'day in the life' video on social media.

During her Savage X meeting at 9pm which ran until 1:30am, Rihanna revealed she was having the 'longest day ever' as she balanced work with motherhood.

'I have to go to the studio next and then have to make a mardi gras costume for my son after the studio, longest day ever', she said.

The video then cut to 2:18am where the mother-of-three was sat in the studio writing in a notebook with her team for hours.

At nearly 7am, Rihanna travelled home to start mom duties as she bedazzled her sons jeans and decorated an umbrella for her son's mardi gras costume.

Following the busy night, the Only Girl songstress signed off by saying goodbye to her son at 9:45am as put him in a car.

Fans have gone crazy over the news Rihanna has returned to music after she has ventured in other industries and taken some time being a mom over the last 10 years.

'SHES IN THE STUDIOOOO!!!; GURL DROP THE MUSIC; Studio!!!! Please stop don’t play with ma feeling Riri; ALL I HEARD WAS STUDIOOOO;

'Sooo uhhhh we all saw her in the stu at 2:18am, right? RIGHT!?!?; We are INVESTED in this series, especially the studio part;

'SHE IS COMING BACK; You can be a mommy, be a boss, and do what you love while looking amazing; WE READY'.

Rihanna hasn't released a new album since 2016, and in that time she has only released one song, 2022's Lift Me Up.

Previously, the Fenty Beauty founder made some remarks that scared fans into thinking she may be done recording new music.

During a Fenty event in her native Barbados, she did a DJ set for the crowd.

'Music was the thing that got the attention, but God had other plans for me,' she said while addressing attendees.

The remark reignited fans' fears that RiRi will never finish her highly anticipated ninth album and, in fact, may never release new music again.

But now her fans can get excited about whatever Rihanna was doing at the studio.

It comes as Rihanna and A$AP have been at the centre of marriage speculation this past year, fuelled by her referring to him as her 'loving husband' and him describing her as his 'wife'.

Asked by journalist Clover Hope if he looks forward to being a husband, the Harlem-bred music artist quipped, 'How you know I'm not already a husband?'

But he played coy as he laughed and followed up, 'I'm still not gonna confirm it.'

Rihanna and A$AP initially teased that they had potentially tied the knot in the rapper's 2022 D.M.B. music video.

The duo acted out a wedding ceremony with the Bajan songstress donning a blood-red wedding dress and veil.

And her beau flashed gold grills that read 'Marry Me' while she wore a corresponding set reading, 'I do.'

The song, an ode to the Fenty mogul, contains the lyrics: 'I was lost then but I found you / Little slim thick with a bounce too.'

And the dad of three also refers to the billionaire businesswoman as his 'angel' and 'goddess'.

Fans took to social media to share their opinions on whether or not the power couple have actually tied the knot.

One person wrote on X, 'They are not married. They like freedom.'

Another reasoned why the lovebirds might want to keep their business under wraps.

'I don't understand what the secret would be about if Rihanna and A$AP are married,' the fan commented. 'They [have] kids and everyone [has] been happy for them, so why hide being married?'

The social media user, whose handle is @Adore_Shay, added, 'Sometimes celebrities just wanna keep something to themselves maybe? I don't know.'

That sighting came after Bad Bunny delivered what was estimated to be the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show ever - knocking Rihanna down to fourth place.

Bad Bunny reportedly reached 135.4 million people worldwide, breaking the previous record held by Kendrick Lamar, who netted 133.5 million viewers last year.
