Reporter Walks Out After Heated Argument with Cameraman

An explosive argument between two members of a news crew is making headlines after a video surfaced of the embarrassing stoush.

Seven News reporter Inga Neilsen was caught on film storming out of a media conference two weeks ago after clashing with her cameraman Finn Hawkins.

Witnesses say they heard the journalist call Hawkins an '***hole' and a 'c***', and told him to 'f**k off' before making a heated exit.

The fiery exchange occurred in front of other members of the media in Lake Cargelligo, .

Neilsen and Hawkins had been in the area for several days, .

A video shared with The Australian, shows journalists milling about in front of the tiny town's police station just as things between the pair became heated.

At one point, Neilsen, who is off camera, can be heard saying, 'Can you stop being such an ***hole Finn?'

Seconds later, Neilson can be seen throwing her water bottle to the ground and telling her cameraman to 'f**k off' as she walks away ahead of the scheduled media briefing.

According to The Australian, the pair had been known to 'get along' and had worked together often.

Tensions arose between the duo when they had to share a single room while covering the Ingram story.

The publication reports that Seven management had offered them more comfortable accommodation in Griffith, 135 km away, but the pair wanted to stay close to the story.

Things reportedly went sour between the pair when Hawkins gave Neilsen a tip about a rival news crew.

When Neilsen checked the story with members of the unnamed network, she revealed her source was Hawkins, who claimed she had 'dogged' him - slang for 'informed'.

Neilsen turned to management to complain that her cameraman had called her a 'dog' and wanted to be taken off the story.
