Professor Green has shared an insight into the exchange he had with his ex-wife after they made amends following their bitter split.

The rapper, 42, and the former star, 36, are now on good terms and reconnected when she released her book 'Bad Drunk', about turning to sobriety.

The former couple also had also been told they have following their break-up and bonded over the fact they received later in life diagnoses.

Sharing details of their exchange, Professor Green told the Sun: 'We [me and Millie] spoke when she was releasing a book about her being sober and we spoke around that because I was mentioned in the book and she just wanted me to know that it was coming out and it was a really respectful thing to do.

'It was very cordial, it was over email.

'We laughed a little bit going "you're ADHD… me too".'

The former couple ended their three year marriage in 2016, and Pro Green confirmed last year that they were back on speaking terms after nine years of silence.

Professor Green - whose real name is Stephen Manderson - and Millie's email exchange took place before her split from second husband Hugo Taylor.

The couple announced in February that they were going their separate ways after seven years of marriage and two children together.

Millie is a mother to her daughters Siena, five, and Aurelia, three, with Hugo , while Pro Green raises son Slimane, four, with his actress partner Karima Adebibe.

The rapper revealed in October he was back in touch with ex-wife during a candid podcast interview with her close friend and former made In Chelsea co-star Jamie Laing for his Great Company podcast.

He explained that he and Millie both 'trauma bonded' together over their previously undiagnosed ADHD.

He said: 'There was undiagnosed neurodivergence between both of us. We had a conversation about this recently, and it makes sense.

'I don't feel uncomfortable about these things anymore, but I felt uncomfortable for a huge part of my life.'

He added: 'If there wasn't that pressure, we may have never got married. It very nearly didn't happen.

'I remember having a conversation with my two best mates, Lewis and Phoenix. "Am I getting cold feet? What's going on here?" And one of them said yes. One of them said, No. I won't put him in it, because it's not their responsibility.

last year, Millie said she went through 'a really hard time' when she divorced.

'I think we [Professor Green] both were in our own struggles, and I think we maybe both thought we could fix each other,' she reflected of her marriage. 'But we couldn't.'

'And ultimately, we both had our own struggles, and it just magnified it. And it was actually quite toxic.'

Professor Green, who signed up for E4's Celebs Go Dating in a bid to find love again, said he often jumped head first into relationships because it was 'passionate' and 'intense' but then later became 'resentful'.

After Millie, he had a relationship with actress Karima McAdams before they split in 2023.
