Police Investigate Kirsten Storms Cellphone Hacking Claims

Now the police in Franklin, Tennessee are investigating her claims. 'I can confirm there is an active investigation,' Franklin Police Department MPIO Max Winitz told the Daily Mail on Thursday.

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Storms for further comment on the story.

Storms, , had claimed in a bizarre Instagram clip on April 9 that outside forces had been interfering with her phone, leading her to take extra precautions.

'I’m recording this actually on one of my old phones,' Storms said. 'And I’m going to send it to that and then upload it as fast as I can and then turn that device off.'

Storms explained the issues she said she was dealing with that kept her sidelined from the social media platform.

'I know it’s been over a month, two months since I was on Instagram, discussing my devices being hacked in the apartment I moved into in Franklin at the Legacy Cool Springs Building,' Storms said. 

Storms began the clip: 'Just an update, really quick, because I know I’ve just kind of been unable to get on my Instagram.'
