The Married At First Sight star, 35, has been in the headlines recently after she initially backed out of doing the Bali procedure, but has since decided to go through with it.
Now, the podcaster documenting her journey, Josh Fox, has revealed on 2DayFM Breakfast with Nath & Emma that the surgery will 'fracture' her ribs.

'It's almost like a needle either side and that shaves off and fractures your bottom ribs, the floating ribs, and then they can turn them in slightly,' he said on Friday.
'So they can actually bend your bones?' asked host Emma Chow.
'Yeah. Afterwards, these girls have to wear a corset for 12 weeks, and how tight they wear that corset determines how small their waist is going to be,' Josh said.

Co-host Nath Roye went on to ask who was paying for Bec, and the other influencers she was travelling with, to have the procedure done.
'So this group of girls, they're kind of there on contra. "We'll give you that and cover the expenses if you're posting about it and promoting it,"' Josh explained.
'So they haven't paid for anything for their rib contouring,' Nath said.

'That's why I went. Because initially, I said no to this, like documenting it,' Josh said.
'But then I thought, if I don't go and try and skew the narrative and ask questions, all we're going to get is 10, 20 influencers going, "Look how great this new thing is."'
Josh went on to say he believes Bec and fellow MAFS star Awhina Rutene are getting the surgery done because they are 'insecure'.
'It feels bad saying it, but they're all just very insecure in my eyes. Like, Awhina told me, she loves her body before and she'll love it afterwards,' he said.

'She just said she'd like this. But then like, Bec from MAFS, she is an insecure woman. We know that. That's why I was happy she [initially] backed out.'

Just days after it was revealed the reality star had travelled overseas to undergo the increasingly popular rib contouring operation, Bec made a shock last-minute decision to walk away moments before she was due to go under the knife.
Speaking on the MAFS Funny podcast, hosted by Josh, Bec admitted she arrived at the luxury Bali hospital fully prepared for surgery before questioning whether she was making the right decision.
'I walked in and I thought, "Am I ready? Is this what I want to do?"' Bec said. 'I just think that I'm going to take a little bit of time to think about it a little bit more.'
Podcast host Josh, who documented Bec's journey, revealed he was stunned when she contacted him shortly after arriving at the hospital to say she had changed her mind.
Bec stressed that no one involved in organising the trip had pressured her into proceeding with the operation.
'The company that's brought me out here isn't pressuring me saying, "You've got to get it done,"' she explained.
'I have the full ability to make that decision as to whether or not it's something that aligns with me.'
The body-contouring procedure, which is not currently available in Australia, involves reshaping the lower floating ribs to create a dramatically smaller waist without removing the bones.
The surgery has exploded in popularity among influencers, with several women undergoing the operation during the same Bali trip.
The latest cosmetic trend has sparked fierce debate online, with many accusing influencers of promoting unrealistic beauty standards.
Former MAFS bride Domenica Calarco blasted the decision, writing: 'Call me Karen, but getting the most insecure women to go and permanently change their bodies like this while promoting it… shame shame shame.'
Fellow MAFS star Beck Zemek also weighed in, warning she had turned down countless offers of free cosmetic surgery since appearing on the show.
'If I said yes to the amount of free plastic surgery I've been offered since MAFS I would be botched by now,' she wrote.
'I don't believe you should do something you never had insecurities about before just because it is presented in front of you… Girls, you're breaking your rib cages.'
