Model reveals why Aussie blokes are duds at dating – and why American guys make better lovers

A model from has revealed the reason she will never 'settle down' with an Australian man, after struggling to find a match while visiting the country.

Kit Barrus, a model and content creator from California, tells Daily Mail she recently jetted Down Under for a holiday and now believes 'American men have better game'. 

She claims the people she has dated in the US are far more 'romantic', and adds that the Aussie guys she often 'don't have jobs'.  

American men have better game for sure. I don't think I could settle down with an Aussie guy,' the adult content creator, 28, says. 

'I dated a few while I lived there and tried again recently. They are very nonchalant. 

'They're also very into appearances and much more conservative socially and aesthetically.' 

'American men are down for a romantic adventure. Aussie men save the adventure for the outdoors,' she says. 

Kit, who claims to earn US$400,000 (AU$579,626) a month selling racy content online, says her income also caused problems while using dating apps in Australia.

'When I was in Australia, it was weird. I really struggled to get a Hinge match,' she explains. 

'Australia is a lot more conservative than America... People in Australia are just like, "Nah."'

She also says she received some extreme reactions from men when they discovered her lucrative profession, facing both fetishisation and immediate rudeness.

'You fall into this weird place where men can be too excited to date you because you have a little bit of money and because it's like a fetish for them,' she says. 

'Or they kind of hate you right out of the gate.'

Adding to the dating dilemma is the financial imbalance.
