For Jesy will be at home, caring for her beloved twin daughters who suffer from an extremely rare genetic neuromuscular disease.

Indeed, the lives of the once stratospherically successful girl group couldn't be more different now. The band, which rose to fame together on The in 2011, split in 2022. The break-up was prompted by Jesy's desire to go solo in 2020, which sparked a bitter feud.

Tensions eased earlier this year after Jesy announced the shock news that her twins, Ocean and Story, were born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, and will probably never walk. She subsequently revealed she had split from their father, her ex-fiancé Zion Foster. The girls rallied around their former bandmate, with Jesy revealing in January that the singers had been in touch to support her in the wake of the shocking and life-changing diagnosis.

Yet the truce didn't last long. The Daily Mail now understands that any hopes of a reconciliation have been derailed by the release of Jesy's Amazon documentary Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix, which came out in February and reopened old wounds.

'So much time has gone by now,' one associate of Jesy's tells the Daily Mail. 'You'd think by now that the other Little Mix girls would be nice to her.

'It feels like, because there are three of them against one, there is some ganging up going on here. It doesn't feel right.'

The docuseries, which chronicled Jesy's struggles in the band, seems to have angered the other girls and dredged up the feelings of animosity surrounding her departure in 2020 after nine years.

When Jesy left, she revealed that the pressure of being in the band had taken a toll on her mental health.

She took a swipe at her bandmates, adding: 'I need to spend some time with the people I love, doing things that make me happy.'

Perrie, 32, Jade, 33, and Leigh-Anne, 34, continued as a trio before eventually splitting to pursue solo projects.

The three of them remain close friends, often gushing over each other in interviews and supporting one another at gigs – but they have certainly made it clear they still have lingering animosity towards Jesy.

Sources tell the Daily Mail that, following Jesy's exit from the group, there was an 'obvious PR campaign' to ensure that the trio emerged on top from the fallout.

In 2021, Leigh-Anne accused her former friend of 'blackfishing' [trying to appear black through hair and makeup] in the music video for Jesy's solo hit Boyz in leaked messages with influencer NoHun.

It blew up into the biggest showbiz scandal of the year, with friends of Leigh-Anne, Perrie and Jade stirring up a media backlash against Jesy.

'There's poor Jesy out on her own; she has always felt like the odd one out and it has been hard for her,' said the source.

'With what has happened to her babies, you would think that the others might want to bury the hatchet. Sadly it seems like that's no longer a possibility.'

Indeed, during an appearance on Jamie Laing's Great Company podcast on Wednesday, Perrie revealed she has cut out 'difficult' Jesy from her life for good. She told Jamie that it is very unlikely that the four will ever reunite as Jesy 'upset and hurt me in a way where there is no going back'.

The singer accused her former bandmate of not taking accountability for her behaviour leading up to her exit from the band and claimed that, after watching Jesy's documentary, she realised that she doesn't 'have the capacity for someone like that in my life anymore.'

She said: 'What annoys me the most, and again I have to be careful how I say this as I don't want to seem like a b****, but for me what upsets me the most is when situations like this happen, and the other person doesn't take any accountability. That boils my blood.'

She continued: 'You can only pick someone up so many f***ing times before you start losing track of your own sanity.'

Jesy claimed in her documentary that she had felt unsupported through her mental health battles whilst she was in the band. She claimed it made her feel alienated from the others – something Perrie denied in her chat with Jamie.

'Don't put the blame on me and make me out to be something I am not. Yes, I am not perfect, and I might not have been there enough, or I could have done better.
