Perdita announced the happy news on Instagram this week as she shared the first image of herself cradling her newborn in a sunlit wooden studio.
The actress, who has not revealed the identity of her child's father, wore a sports bra and blue shorts which showed off her toned postpartum physique.
She captioned it: 'A minor adjustment, and normal programming may resume.'
As well as keeping the father's name a secret, Perdita has not disclosed her child's name or sex.
The star, who played ex-MI6 agent Juliet Higgins in the US reboot of Magnum P.I. alongside Jay Hernandez, 48, surprised fans and friends when she announced she was pregnant in March.

She shared a photo on Instagram of her baby bump while dressed in black leggings and a crop top. 'Working on my waistline,' she wrote.
Her former Magnum P.I. co-star Jordana Brewster, 46, commented: 'Oh my gosh!!!!! You will be such a good mama!'.
British actors Tom Cullen, 40, and Laura Haddock, 40, also sent their congratulations - with The Inbetweeners star Laura writing: 'Eeekkkk'.
Perdita has never publicly confirmed a partner and has spent years batting away persistent online rumours about her private life.
For over a decade, fans were convinced she was married to a man named Kit Frederiksen, with whom she supposedly shares twin sons. Perdita has repeatedly debunked the claim, which appears to have originated as an internet theory.

Taking to social media in 2019, she wrote: 'When you have to spend your Monday morning reporting the myriad false mentions on the internet of your "husband" and "children." You'd think I would remember getting married and birthing twin boys.'
Photos circulated of the supposed husband were later identified as American actor Ben Feldman, her co-star in the 2014 horror film As Above, So Below. He is married to actress Michelle Mulitz.
Perdita - who is the younger sister of Foyle's War star Honeysuckle Weeks, 46, and the elder sister of former child actor Rollo Weeks, 38 - began performing at the age of seven, appearing in a series of McVitie's biscuit adverts alongside actress Jane Asher, 79.

Her first credited film role came aged eleven, playing an enthusiastic Spice Girls fan in the 1997 musical comedy Spice World.
Perdita went on to study art history at London's prestigious Courtauld Institute before returning to acting. She played Mary Boleyn in the Showtime historical drama The Tudors from 2007 to 2008, and Lydia Bennet in the 2008 ITV series Lost in Austen.
She then starred as archaeologist Scarlett Marlowe in As Above, So Below, filmed in the Paris catacombs, appeared in Steven Spielberg's blockbuster Ready Player One in 2018, and featured in the gothic series Penny Dreadful.
Her breakthrough came the same year, when she was cast as ex-MI6 agent Juliet Higgins in the American reboot of Magnum P.I.
Filmed in Hawaii opposite Jay, the series ran for five seasons and 96 episodes before ending in January 2024.
The role made her a fan favourite, with critics praising the emotional depth she brought to Higgins. She also stepped behind the camera to direct an episode in the final season.
More recently, Perdita appeared as journalist Tina Keyes in two episodes of the acclaimed British crime drama The Gold in 2025, and had a small role in Guy Ritchie's Apple TV action film Fountain of Youth, starring John Krasinski and Natalie Portman.
Perdita divides her time between the US and the UK as she has a home in West Sussex.
