Pearl Lowe has revealed she has bought a new Somerset cottage, six months after she was forced to sell her beloved family home of nine years.

The designer, 56, is married to Supergrass drummer Danny Goffey, 52, with whom she shares three children: Alfie, 29, Frankie, 26, and Betty, 20. She is also mum to model , 37, from a relationship with the Bush lead singer .

Pearl and Danny moved their family from London to Somerset twenty years ago to raise their children in the countryside.

But in December 2025 they were forced to put their Grade II-listed house on the market for £3.5million and sell much of the vintage contents at auction, with Pearl recently revealing that a bad business deal meant she was left nearly £100k out of pocket.

On Friday, Pearl announced the happy update that she and Danny had got the keys to a new cottage in Somerset.

'Since leaving our family home in December, I'm not going to lie, life has been a bit of a rollercoaster (not in a fun way!),' she told her followers.

'We have all felt somewhat uprooted and misplaced, after spending months being moved from pillar to post, wondering quite where we were supposed to land.'

On Friday, Peal revealed she Danny had got the keys to a new cottage in Somerset. 'We have all felt somewhat uprooted and misplaced' she told her followers

'Fast forward six months, and after four months of endless wrangling with lost deeds, ancient unrecovered bank accounts, the Land Registry, lawyers and various other institutions (all of which nearly sent me and my other half Danny, over the edge!) This morning we finally got the keys to our new cottage in Somerset... and I can't tell you how good it feels.'

She went on to thank 'my friends and family, especially the children, who have patiently endured weeks (possibly months) of me moaning, catastrophising and talking about absolutely nothing else.'

The star, who is a keen interior designer, then gushed 'now comes the fun bit... decorating! Paint charts, wallpaper and fabric swatches, antique hunts and no doubt a fair amount of glorious chaos along the way. Follow my escapades on my stories. I suspect there are going to be plenty!'

Daisy commented under the post 'Whoop whooooop! Biggest congratulations SO excited to see the magic you create in your very enchanted new home.'

In an interview with The Times last week Pearl revealed how her three-year collaboration with the high street store Peacocks was her most lucrative job as a designer, until the company went bust.

'It was amazing until they went into liquidation and owed me about £100,000,' she explained. 'I think I got about £7,000 back because the people who bought it wanted to use my collection but that was it. It was a really tough time. We had to sell our house after that.'

Pearl and Danny then moved into a 'little' 800 square feet, two-bedroom flat in London whilst they sold their Somerset house.

She also explained she has a bad history with credit cards, revealing how ten years ago she took out a credit card but then moved house and never changed the address.

'One day I saw a fee for £150 on my account and when I added it up there was about £9,000 in interest,' she confessed.

'I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD and one of the things I’ve learnt is that you sometimes put things in boxes, especially if you don’t want to think about them and they’re troubling you. It really is debilitating.'

'When it comes to money I’ve struggled because I’ve mismanaged it. I’ve also been ripped off because I’m kind of people-pleasing. I want to say yes to things and don’t look at contracts and just sign things. So, I’ve had lots of trouble in that area.'

She admitted that whilst she is a huge spender, her retirement plan is buying and selling property, explaining 'we've never lost money on them.'
