Controversial former Married at First Sight bride Olivia Frazer has revealed she’s been battling a bad bout of depression over the last six months.

The 30-year-old shared the mental health update during an Instagram Q&A on Wednesday, admitting she was struggling to ‘get out of bed’.

‘Honestly, I’ve been in a huge bout of depression,’ she posted to her stories after a fan had asked simply: ‘How are you?’

‘I don’t say this for sympathy, but just to keep it transparent,’ she said.

‘Getting out of bed over the last 6 months on and off has been a struggle, but the last 6 weeks have been really difficult.

‘Not for any particular reason, just feels like a lot over the last few years [has] caught up with me.

‘I’m okay and slowly getting back out there and getting into a routine. So just being kind to myself and doing the best I can.’

This is not the first time Olivia has spoken about struggling with mental health issues since appearing on the show two years ago.

She admitted back in 2022 she suffered from both anxiety and depression.

The reality star was dubbed a ‘villain’ during the dramatic 2022 MAFS season after sharing a nude photo of Domenica Calarco among the cast, outing her as an OnlyFans model.

Dom had shared the image on her public Twitter profile in early 2021 to promote her OnlyFans account, which has since been deleted.

The photo quickly spread through the MAFS cast via WhatsApp, and was addressed at the first dinner party following the couples’ retreat.

Domenica was humiliated to learn her co-stars knew about her OnlyFans page and had seen her naked, and eventually broke down in tears.

Olivia later refused to apologise for discovering the picture.

Olivia fell victim to trolls who would slam her over the MAFS controversy when she attended red carpets or event.

Last November she launched a tirade against the show during another Q&A with her fans,  when she was asked if she would ever put the MAFS photos she deleted from her social media back up.

Olivia did not mince words as she issued a blunt response.

‘Probably not. I hate the entire thing (I’m grateful for the friends I made and the platform it gave me). But I’m not proud of it,’ she began.

‘I don’t want to be associated with it. The first thing I did when I got my account back was remove Channel Nine and EndemolShine Australia.’

Olivia has openly criticised the show in the past and in August she revealed she and her ex-boyfriend Jackson Lonie would still be a couple if it weren’t for the extreme popularity of MAFS.

The former teaching student found love with the former plumber, 31, on the dating show, but split just months after the series aired.
