Emma Roberts picked the wrong footwear to attend a sandy party inside The Beach Club at Gurney’s Montauk in New York on Saturday.
The 33-year-old former child star was forced to carry her white high-heeled booties as she trudged her way through the 2K-foot-long private beach while wearing a black sailor-bib mini-dress.
Emma spent the weekend party-hopping in the Hamptons where she managed to ‘bump’ into her former Scream Queens castmate Lea Michele, who’s pregnant with her second child.
It’s been eight years since Roberts and the expecting 37-year-old portrayed Chanel Oberlin and Hester Ulrich aka Chanel #6 in the Ryan Murphy satirical slasher, which aired for two seasons on Fox.
The AHS: Delicate star also hung out with The Real Housewives of New York City alums Bethenny Frankel (along with her daughter Bryn Hoppy) and Luann de Lesseps at the same bash, gushing: ‘[Housewives] dreams come true!’

Bethenny tagged Untitled Entertainment founding partner Jason Weinberg in her Instagram post, describing the outdoor affair as ‘a bougie Hamptons party.’
Missing from Emma’s side was her three-year-old son Rhodes Robert Hedlund (with ex-boyfriend Garrett Hedlund) whom she raises with her mother Kelly Cunningham.
Roberts might be close with her Oscar-winning aunt Julia Roberts, but she is estranged from her biological father Eric Roberts, who left when she was seven months old and hasn’t been pictured with her since 2004.
The 68-year-old Oscar nominee promised to ‘delve into the complicated relationship with his daughter’ in his 304-page memoir Runaway Train, co-authored by Sam Kashner, which St. Martin’s Press will publish on September 17.
The homeschooled millennial currently stars as Florida party girl Rex Simpson, who lies to becomes a NASA astronaut, in Liz W. Garcia’s comedy Space Cadet, which premiered July 4 on Amazon Prime Video.
Emma also executive produced the 110-minute flick which features Tom Hopper, Gabrielle Union, Desi Lydic, and Dave Foley.
Worryingly, Space Cadet has a dismal 26% critic approval rating (out of 23 reviews) and a 39% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
This, after Roberts’ last two films Madame Web scored an 11% Rotten Tomatoes rating and Maybe I Do scored a 32% Rotten Tomatoes rating.
The Belletrist co-founder’s upcoming projects include Alexis Ostrander’s thriller Fourth Wall, I. Marlene King’s series Calabasas, Meaghan Oppenheimer’s comedy series Second Wife for Hulu, Nathan Smith’s animated film Saurus City, and Katie Locke O’Brien’s comedy Hot Mess.
