Radio Duo Clarifies Ongoing Romance Rumors

Sydney’s newest radio sensations, Luisa Dal Din and Jack Archdale – better known as Lu and Jarch – have found themselves at the centre of persistent romance rumours.

A quick Google search of the Triple M drive-time and We Mean Well podcast co-hosts will reveal they are “married”, but the best friends said that is nothing more than a piece of fan fiction and they are not a couple.

‘Absolutely not,’ Jarch told Sydney Confidential on Friday.

Lu clarified the hilarious mix-up and explained that the pair are both in happy relationships with other people.

‘No, no. It says that Jarch is married, not to me, and I have a partner, Lachlan,’ she said.

A quick Google search of the on-air duo will reveal they are “married”, but the best friends said that is nothing more than a piece of fan fiction. ‘Absolutely not,’ Jarch said

‘Not everything you see should be believed!’

Though she did concede to their undeniable ‘special chemistry’ on air, which no doubt fuels the speculation.

Jarch elaborated further, explaining: ‘I think that is a user-generated site where people can alter the info and they have just made it their own.’

Lu and Jarch are the latest stars to land a prime gig in Sydney’s cutthroat radio scene, now fronting the early drive afternoon slot nationally on Southern Cross Austereo’s Triple M stations.

Their rise to prominence comes after years spent toiling behind the scenes in radio, before launching their hugely successful podcast We Mean Well about three years ago.

‘I guess we were lucky that it just took off and we were both able to quit our jobs and make it a full-time job, which is crazy,’ Lu said.

According to Lu, 31, a huge part of their winning formula is simply being ‘good friends.’

While many radio hosts will be taking a hiatus over the coming fortnight, Lu and Jarch will remain on air to continue building on their hard-won momentum.

Triple M recently suffered a brutal blow in the third radio ratings survey of 2025.

The survey showed that Beau Ryan, Aaron ‘Woodsy’ Woods and Cat Lynch’s Sydney breakfast show continues to lose listeners.

The trio, who lost 1.5 per cent of the market share in survey two, dropped another 1.5 in the latest survey, bringing them down to a 4.4 market share from a previous 5.9.

It was one of many hits Triple M took this week, as the station suffered a decline across all Sydney timeslots.

Meanwhile, sister station 2DAY gained 0.5 per cent of the breakfast market share, leaving new hosts Jimmy Smith, Emma Chow and Nath Roye chuffed.

The station finished at 4.5 overall – up by 0.2 – as it gains ground on Triple M’s overall 4.9 market share.
