She’s known for being one of the biggest divas in showbusiness, and last night Naomi Campbell lived up to her reputation when she left her own party after just seven minutes.
Launching their new partnership whilst at the Cannes Film Festival, BMW hosted an ‘exclusive’ party on Wednesday evening to celebrate the launch the Naomi inspired car where a purple car was unveiled called the Mystique Allure.
Hosted at the BMW World, opposite the famous Carlton Hotel on the Cannes Croisette, hundreds gathered in the small outside venue to see Naomi unveil her latest creation.
Arriving at 10:30, an hour and a half into the event, Naomi, 53, was introduced through a glittering purple runway.
Wearing a khaki military inspired outfit, she walked out to the crowd, gave a small speech thanking BMW, posed for some photos in front of the car, and left.

Naomi posed alongside Alton Mason as the two posed up a storm together.
The American model, 26, looked incredible dapper in a black suit and waistcoat, as he flashed his toned bare chest in an unbuttoned white shirt.
It’s understood Naomi left her own party to then attend the Christian Dior event across the road at on the opulent rooftop of the JW Marriott hotel where she joined Anya Taylor-Joy, 28, and Chris Hemsworth, 40, and stayed until the early hours of the morning.
She earlier walked the red carpet at the Mad Max premiere in a vintage Chanel gown.
Naomi signed a deal with BMW in April last year and has now designed her own model of the XM range.
While the figure of her deal is unknown, it’s understood to be in the realms of six figures – like several of her other big money contracts.
Previous reports have suggested the supermodel has been paid up to millions of pounds for some deals and collaborations.
With a net worth of £80 million, Naomi has previously worked with luxury brands such as Versace, Ralph Lauren, Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel.

The supermodel walked out to the crowd, gave a small speech thanking BMW, posed for some photos in front of the car, and left
Naomi was also joined by Amelia Dimoldenberg who opted for a skin tight red corset dress with shiny skirt
Speaking at the event she said: ‘Thank you to the whole team at BMW for making this happen. Cannes is all about the fashion, the glamour. But of course it’s all in the art of cinema and the platform that it gives creatives to show their passion their dreams and tell their narratives and their stories that makes us dream and fantasize and keep living life’

Said to be inspired and designed by the supermodel, the car was covered in purple sequins which were said to have all been ‘hand stitched’.
‘Thank you to the whole team at BMW for making this happen,’ Naomi said last night.
‘Cannes is all about the fashion, the glamour.
‘But of course it’s all in the art of cinema and the platform that it gives creatives to show their passion their dreams and tell their narratives and their stories that makes us dream and fantasize and keep living life.’
Speaking about the new car Naomi said: ‘It’s very fashionable, it’s innovative, it’s a masterpiece, it’s high in technology and it’s my favourite colour.’
Also in attendance last night was composer Hans Zimmer, 66, who helped design the sound of the car.
He climbed into the vehicle and plugged his phone in to play ‘his own music’.
Staying close to Naomi was also her stylist Law Roach who has recently skyrocketed in popularity after styling Zendaya for her Challengers press tour.
With Zendaya expected to arrive in Cannes on Thursday, Law is also said to be styling her for the Film Festival.
After Naomi left the event was then left to influencers to take photos and videos of themselves in the car to promote the launch and the brand.
An open bar, DJ and an ice cream stall were all open to guests and a magician made his way around in an attempt to entertain those invited.
