Millie Mackintosh Reveals Daily Diet Post-Divorce Stress

has revealed she switched up her diet after being in 'survival mode after long periods of stress'. 

The former star, 36, split from her husband  last month after seven years of marriage.

Millie took to Instagram on Thursday to share what she eats in a day after making changes to regulate her hormones. 

For breakfast, Millie had Greek yoghurt with blueberries, berry compote, granola and nut butter after kicking off her day with a morning shot of olive oil, lemon and cayenne pepper. 

Next up was a plate of supplements including broccoli sprout extract, vitamin and omega-3 amongst others. 

After a protein shake and a decaffeinated coffee, Millie's lunch included bacon, egg, sweetcorn fritters, avocado and roasted tomatoes.

An afternoon snack was a Medjool date and some Brazil nuts while dinner was a healthy chicken broth with brown rice. 

For her pudding she had a nut butter chocolate. 

Millie wrote: 'What I eat in a day to support my hormones.

'Over the past year I’ve been doing a lot more work on understanding my body. I actually followed a pretty strict keto diet for about a year, and while it worked in some ways, after doing more detailed hormone testing and blood work I realised I needed to shift my focus.

'I’ve been working with Women’s Health Coach @balancedboss_, and something really interesting came up in my functional testing. Like a lot of high-achieving women juggling work, kids and life, my body had essentially been stuck in “survival mode” after long periods of stress. 

'When your nervous system is constantly switched on it can affect everything from energy and mood to hormone balance.

'So instead of restricting food, the focus now is on nourishing and stabilising the body.

'That means consistent, warm, nutrient-dense meals built around:

'– Protein for hormone production and stable energy'.

Millie and Hugo, who , announced their separation on February 2, seven years after exchanging vows. 

The couple, who met as teenagers and first , had been married since June 2018.

'They have known each other for many years, and in recent weeks, have had serious conversations about their future, ultimately deciding it's better for them both to part ways.

'Their main priority remains their children and family life, and separating is not something they ever hoped would happen.

'It's been an incredibly difficult start to the year, and one they hope to continue managing in private.'

Sources close to Millie and Hugo say they remain committed to co-parenting their young children, who continue to be their priority, and to maintaining a loving family life.
