Michael J. Fox took a journey through the past over the weekend when he Christopher Lloyd.
Fox, 64, revealed that the two actors had caught up in an Instagram post on Saturday featuring his longtime pal Lloyd, 87.
'Dining with my bestie at the beach. Next year BTTF is 41. Great Scott,' he captioned his post, referencing their first film together, which was released in 1985.
'Chris will be 8️⃣8️⃣. That’s some serious s***,' Fox added.
Lloyd joined in the fun in the comments, adding another Back To The Future line: 'Man, that’s heavy.'
Fox — who delivered a moving speech this month at the Actor Awards about — starred in the first Back To The Future film as Marty , a high schooler whose unlikely friendship with Emmett 'Doc' Brown (Lloyd) leads him to travel back to the 1950s in a time machine made out of an already defunct DMC DeLorean.

Despite suffering a series of setbacks that ballooned the film's budget, the first Back To The Future was a box office hit that cemented Fox's status as a leading man and turned him and Lloyd into pop culture icons.

Its success led to two more blockbuster sequels, Back To The Future Part II (1989) and Part III (1990).
In his photo, Fox and Lloyd both beamed while sitting at a table in a restaurant and leaning in toward each other.
Fox was seen earlier this month when he made a cheeky joke as one of the opening speakers at the Actor Awards, formerly know as the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards
He joked that his son wasn't an actor, just his date, and he told a sweet story about how acting led him to meet his wife, Tracy Pollan
Fox and Pollan, 65, share four children: son Sam, 36; and daughters Aquinnah, 31; Schuyler, 31; and Esmé, 24. Fox and Pollan met when she appeared on his series Family Ties in the 1980s
Fox began his speech: 'Before I left school....,' then had to trail off briefly in order to let his thunderous ovation die down before continuing.
