Megan Pickford Ends Dream After World Cup Exit

Megan Pickford marked the end of England's World Cup campaign with a sweet video hanging up her children's football shirts after the team lost to Argentina.

England crashed out of the World Cup on Wednesday night in a 2-1 defeat to the South American side at Atlanta Stadium in Georgia.

Megan, who is the wife of goalkeeper , has followed the team around the U.S. with her children supporting her husband and his teammates.

But Megan said it was the 'end of the dream' as she placed each of her children's shirts back in the wardrobe, including her own which says Pickford on the back.

Her son Arlo, seven, and daughters, Ostara Haze, three, and Misty Celine, 15 months, each wore red shirts with 'daddy' printed on the back.

The heartbroken England WAGs were seen consoling their partners in the stands as Argentina knocked the Three Lions out of the World Cup.

Megan looked devastated as her footballer husband Jordan placed his head in his hands after the intense game.

's wife Naima Corbin and Ollie Watkins' wife Ellie were both seen hugging their partners in the stands. 

England managed to strike first when scored off a cross from Morgan Rogers to give the Three Lions a 1 - 0 lead.

However, just moments later, defending champions Argentina equalised late with a long-range strike from Enzo Fernández.

In stoppage time, floated a cross to the back post, allowing Lautaro Martínez to head home the winning goal.

As the referee blew the whistle, Megan, 30, looked visibly upset with her hands placed on her head. 

Harry Kane's wife Kate and Jude Bellingham's girlfriend Ashlyn Castro were also spotted looking sombre in the stands as the match came to an end. 

Just 90 minutes earlier, Megan and Ashlyn led the WAGs rooting for England at the World Cup semi-finals.

Megan and Ashlyn, 28, were the first to arrive out of the WAGs to watch England take on Argentina in Atlanta, Georgia.

Naima was also spotted in the stands, while 's wife Kate posed for a snap outside the stadium. 

Ahead of the match, Megan was the first of the wives to throw support behind the Three Lions.

She took to ahead of the Atlanta game to ask fans for help on which designer outfit to wear.

Megan first turned heads in a fitted football shirt with Jordan's player number on it with a pair of white jeans.

The influencer teamed the look with a red Celine belt and an adorable white bag.

She then switched into a mini black-and-white dress from Meshki, styled with a red Chanel bag.

'Ladies I need help for today’s outfit? Dress or shirt,' she penned alongside the clip.

Just moments earlier, she took to Instagram to share a sweet tribute with their children for Jordan: 'Today's mood, Go Daddy'.

Megan and Jordan's children looked adorable in football kits with 'Daddy' on the back as they cheered 'Daddy, daddy!' and jumped in circles prior to the game.

Elsewhere, ' wife Ellie took to her Instagram Stories to plug a mascara ahead of the big match. 

This was followed by another post, showing off her chic outfit before she headed to the stadium.

Megan has made the most of her US jaunt with a lavish shopping spree over the last few weeks.

She ensured she splashed out on a surprise for her spouse, as she shared a snap of a £455 football-themed wallet she picked up for him during a recent trip to New York.
