Nicks Brothers Roast Priyankas Cringe Messages

and have been married for eight years, after the pop star proposed just two months into their romance.

But it turns out the lovebirds had connected long before their whirlwind romance began, via some cringe-worthy DMs.

The actress, 43, is the guest on the latest episode of her husband's podcast Hey Jonas, which he presents with his brothers Joe and Kevin.

Nick's brothers couldn't resist asking the couple about their first connection, with Nick admitting it was Joe who inspired him to reach out to his future wife.

Joe was a huge fan of Priyanka's hit show Quantico, which she starred in from 2015 to 2018, and asked his brother if he had seen it. 

'And I said, "I have not." And then as he's talking about it, I look up on Sunset Boulevard and there's a billboard of your face,' Nick told his wife.

'And so then I go to  and I'm like, "I wonder if she follows me." Which you did.'

Joe and Kevin then proceeded to do a dramatic reading of Nick and Priyanka's first DMs, leaving the embarrassed actress to put her head in her hands. 

'Hello. I've heard from a few people that we should meet,' Joe quoted Nick's first message to his now-wife. 'I have to agree with these people.. Are you in LA anytime soon?'

The couple's mutual friend, actor Graham Rogers played his part in the romance, as Priyanka revealed in her reply.  

Priyanka, responded, 'Hey.. Graham's told me so much about you.. Let's text. More private. My team can access this.'

Priyanka then recalled Nick's first text message, laughing as she said: 'I'll tell you what that first text was. He wanted to corroborate it was actually me.'

'So he asked me for a photo that moment looking into the camera with a time stamp!'

'Just to prove your real sus of me already like but I appreciated it too,' she added.

Nick explained that the messages were sent 'about a year and a half' before they started dating in May 2018, adding 'and then eventually we got engaged.'

'I don't think eventually is the right word!' quipped Joe. 

It was just two months into their relationship in July 2018, that Nick proposed to Priyanka during a Crete holiday.

The romantic had shut down the Tiffany & Co. store in London to browse diamond engagement rings just weeks before popping the question.

The couple married in December 2018 at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur, in Hindu and Christian ceremonies. They welcomed their daughter Malti in 2022.
