Margot Robbie Rocks Midriff on Red Carpet!

The Hollywood actress looked incredible as she flashed her toned midriff in the trendy jacket which featured gold braiding on the front and sleeve cuff. 

Margot teamed the number with wide legged low-rise black jeans and elevated her frame in a pair of matching stilettos. 

The Wuthering Heights star accessorised with a black clutch and a simple pair of gold earrings as she arrived at The Ambassadors Theatre.

Styling her blonde bobbed locks in a neat waved half up do, the Barbie actress flashed a smile as she posed for photos on the red carpet. 

Following a five-star sold-out run at the Almeida, 1536 has transferred to The Ambassadors Theatre in London’s West End from May 2026.

It comes after Margot's 2026 Met Gala frock didn't quite hit the same heights as her previous iconic red carpet looks, with many critics branding her golden gown 'the biggest disappointment' of the night. 

The Australian actress, who is an ambassador for Chanel, sported a muted gold strapless gown with a drop hem and dramatic ruffled train for the annual event, which this year had the theme 'Fashion Is Art'. 

She paired the dress with strappy gold stilettos and elevated the ensemble with striking jewellery, including canary-yellow diamond drop earrings and a matching statement ring. 

While undeniably polished, many fans felt the look didn't quite hit the mark for such a high-concept night.

'Too safe,' one person wrote.

'GIRL GAVE US ABSOLUTELY NOTHING,' another added.

Others echoed similar sentiments, with comments like 'Boring!' and 'It's too pretty if that makes sense. Any other event it'd be amazing. Another missed opportunity to really go for it.'

Several critics pointed out that while the gown itself was beautiful, it failed to align with the evening's avant-garde 'Fashion Is Art' brief.

'This is beautiful but not for the theme,' one user noted, while another questioned: 'Why even bother going if you're not going to make the effort & follow the theme.'

The criticism only escalated from there.

'The biggest disappointment of the Met Gala,' one commenter declared, as another wrote: 'By far the worst dressed. Colour does her no favours.'

Some fans, while still expressing affection for the actress, admitted they expected much more.

'I love her but it looks like she's wearing expensive curtains,' one said, while another added: 'Very underwhelming, I expected so much more with her connections… Just giving, 'I want to come but I don't want the attention at all'.'

A recurring comparison also emerged, with many referencing her recent Wuthering Heights press tour looks.

'Love Margot but all of her Wuthering Heights promo looks would have been better suited and perfect for this year's theme!' one fan wrote.
