‘Nice?,’ she responded in shock, ‘Nice? I want beautiful. I want gorgeous. I want stunning. Your nan looks nice. Your mum looks nice.’
In her introduction, Lacey candidly revealed that she was bullied for her looks when she was younger and she often compared herself to her twin.
Later in the episode, dramatic scenes saw her get teary-eyed as she expressed her worries to her friends and family.
‘It’s not nice hearing that my husband is saying ‘wow’ to my twin. Growing up people used to say how my twin was prettier than me. That’s annoyed me only because I didn’t get a wow,’ Lacey admitted.
Adding: ‘It was a bit gutting, I’m not sure if he fancies me. I hope I am what he wants. I need him to be a good one because I don’t want to be hurt. I’ve been hurt so much in the past, I wanna feel like I am good enough.’
Although the new couple later patched things up, Lacey admitted she’s still unsure whether Nathan is mature enough for her.
