Brittany Renner has sparked backlash after claiming that she has ‘no idea how’ she is going to provide for her three-year-old son, PJ Jr., in a recent social media post.
The influencer, who has more than 4.6 Instagram followers, was slammed for sharing her fears over how she will take care of her little boy, who she shares with Dallas Mavericks star P.J. Washington.
On Saturday, the internet personality, 32, spoke publicly about her financial woes in an Instagram video, in which she wore a khimar, a piece of cloth worn by Muslim women that covers the head, neck, and shoulders.
‘I have gone through a lot of changes internally. And as a result, my outer world has completely crumbled,’ Renner told her followers. ‘I have no idea where I’m going to live or how I’m going to provide for my son.’
Despite opening about her concerns, the mother-of-one insisted her faith in Allah is helping her cope.

‘Allah has moved mountains for me and I trust that this will be no different,’ she said.
Renner went on to compare herself to Alice in Wonderland as she confessed to feeling like Alice after eating the cookie that makes her grow too big to fit inside her house.
‘I’ve outgrown where I am,’ she stated. ‘The facade is fading, alhamdulillah, and I’m at a place where I don’t want anything that doesn’t have my name on it. Take it away. It served no purpose here.’
Still, she insisted that she doesn’t ‘want a penny more than’ she is ‘meant to have.’
‘I can do a lot with a little,’ she concluded.
After sharing her emotional update about feeling ‘incredibly uncertain’ about her future, social media users expressed outrage.
‘Downgrade your lifestyle and live a little,’ one suggested.
Another scoffed: ‘There’s women with no child support assistance, working 2 jobs and still don’t know how the rent is gonna get paid, while you get 5k a month and sitting in a Benz.’

‘You crying to the wrong tax bracket girl. Bye,’ a third wrote.
Last year, Renner confirmed that she got $2,500 a month in child support while appearing on the Tonight’s Conversation podcast, according to Yahoo! News.
Renner recently converted to Islam and has been seen wearing a hijab in her most recent posts.
The influencer, who previously dressed very provocatively in her social media posts, said earlier this month that she was trusting ‘signs’ from the universe.
‘I am going to enjoy every moment of this walk of mine,’ she said.
Despite explaining she was enduring a rough time, the mother-of-one insisted her faith in Allah is helping her cope

Still, Renner admitted that she wasn’t sure how her new look will work with her contractual obligations, given she is paid to model clothing from stores marketed as ‘sexy,’ such as Fashion Nova.
She also said she is looking into Botox under her arms to prevent sweating because she has been struggling with the modest look amid the hot weather.
Renner rose to prominence after her relationship with Washington and has landed herself in several headlines over a number of scandalous statements.
She and NBA star Washington, 25, started dating sometime in 2020 before breaking up the following year, with the NBA player writing a vague tweet about someone ‘faking it all along.’

The pair share a child, and Renner, who has been linked in the past with James Harden, Lil Uzi Vert and a slew of other celebrities.
Renner told Akademiks that she and Washington met when she was 26 years old, while he was playing at the University of Kentucky.
Washington has made over $17million to date in his pro career and signed a three-year, $48million extension with the Hornets last summer.
Renner was also in the news back last year when she was spotted out for dinner with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal in Beverly Hills.

The pair were caught by paparazzi entering a restaurant, where they dined together and were seen laughing and joking.
While the internet was buzzing after the video and photos of the two leaked, TMZ was told that ‘there was nothing romantic going on’ between the pair.
