'Of course there's always so much that is missed.'

'I think everything has been absolutely fair and oftentimes very kind to everybody involved,' she said.

'I would not say it's been worse than what we actually all lived.'

Her remarks suggest that what aired on Channel Nine was a softened version of what unfolded during Wednesday's dinner party - a night now described by cast and crew as 'ground zero' for the season.

The event, which insiders say lasted around two hours, is widely regarded as the moment alliances fractured, reputations imploded and production was forced into crisis mode.

Tensions were already simmering before the group even sat down.

Whispers began circulating that Alissa Fay had allegedly travelled back to Adelaide during filming to reconnect with her ex.

The claims placed her under scrutiny, with multiple brides questioning her commitment to the experiment. She stormed out shortly after.

Moments later, Chris Nield escalated the chaos after an allegation that left the table in stunned silence.

'That was the moment everyone realised this dinner party wasn't coming back,' one insider said.

Just as the group attempted to steady itself, Brook made a dramatic late arrival.

'You think I was going to leave you here with these b***hes?' she announced as she entered.

What followed was one of the most volatile exchanges of the season.

Brook mocked Stella Mickunaite's appearance, sneering: 'If you're going to wear those boots, make sure they're real.'

Stella fired back by calling Gia Fleur a 'dog', sparking yet another argument as multiple feuds erupted simultaneously.

Gia and Alissa's simmering tension also exploded publicly for the first time, with shouting, accusations and interruptions from across the table.

'Gia and Bec were friendly and locked in from that point,' one source revealed.

As the argument escalated, Bec screamed across the table: 'You will not come for my husband!'

Another voice shot back: 'He said it. Hello! He's not into you!'

Insiders say this was the point the dinner party became unmanageable.

While much of the screaming came from the brides, tensions between grooms David and Chris also intensified.

According to multiple sources, the pair stood up and moved towards one another during a heated exchange, prompting producers to physically intervene.

'It was a near punch-on,' one insider said. 'They were absolutely ready to go.'

In the days that followed, EndemolShine reportedly implemented unprecedented measures, including weekly drug testing, tightened curfews and stricter behaviour policies. The Mail does not suggest any of the cast took illicit drugs.

An internal email allegedly expressed 'utter disappointment' in participants and warned there would be no flexibility moving forward.

'This was a crisis-management nightmare,' a production source said.

'After that dinner party, everything changed.'

On screen, audiences were already horrified by Brook's conduct.

'I cannot get over what an awful human being Brook is… what kind of role model is she going to be for her kid? Is she going to teach them it's okay to bully others? She was being a disgusting witch at dinner party,' one viewer wrote.

'I got really upset watching this episode… Brook's behaviour was disgusting,' another added.

'I can't believe Brook is the same person that was offended by Chris's comments in his audition video when she acts just as bad,' a third said.

Brook was also criticised for yelling at Alissa and asking whether her parents would be proud of her behaviour, calling her a 'ratchet b***h', and for threatening to drop a 'bombshell' that would ruin Danny's marriage.

Earlier in the week, she had dramatically exited the experiment, leaving Chris devastated, before returning unannounced to the dinner party.

'I didn't know she was coming back,' Chris later said.

'She kept that from me.'

Despite the backlash, Alessandra maintains the version viewers are watching is not exaggerated for drama.

'I think everything has been absolutely fair and oftentimes very kind to everybody involved,' she reiterated.

'Of course there's always so much that is missed.'
