Phoebe Thompson has shared her fitness journey after welcoming her first child.

The former star, who had her son, Knox Evans, six months ago, debuted her post-baby body in an Instagram Stories post this week.

The 34-year-old explained that she had gained weight during her pregnancy and has been struggling to get back in the gym.

'Six months postpartum, a few kilos away from my goal weight,' Phoebe wrote alongside a photo of herself in a white bikini.

'Breastfeeding and walking has been my saving grace, because I'm averaging 1-2 gym sessions a week, which is eff all considering I use to go to the gym 5-6 days a week,' she continued.

'This isn't meant to ignite comparison. As someone who put on A LOT of weight during pregnancy, and thought I would never feel like myself again.'

Phoebe explained that she did not want to 'sugarcoat' her experience.

'For many women, pregnancy isn't all glow and rainbows,' she wrote.

'It can feel like 10 months of Survivor: Vomiting, gagging, nutrient-depleted, mentally broken over the toilet bowl at 3am.'

The reality star added: 'The past few months have humbled me in ways I didn't know possible. I've felt excited, scared, grateful, lost and helpless all at once.

'It wasn't morning sickness - it was all day and night.'

The television personality went on to describe her crippling prenatal  - a condition she did not understand before she experienced it.
