Television presenter Livinia Nixon and her husband Alistair Jack have quietly secured a multimillion-dollar windfall after selling their sprawling family home for $9.1 million.

Nixon, 51, purchased the home for $4.6 million in 2013, meaning the sale netted the family a $4.5 million profit, more than doubling their original investment.

Set on a sprawling 1,630-square-metre corner block, the landmark residence is tucked away behind stunning gardens centred around a century-old pin oak tree.

During their ownership, the property was transformed into a luxurious family retreat, with a contemporary extension adding expansive living spaces and seamless indoor-outdoor entertaining.

The home features four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a , a separate rumpus and study area for children, plus a dedicated movie and games room, which was perfect for their two sons, Henry, 16, and Ted, 13.

Property records show the Brighton property changed hands in June, ending the couple's 13-year ownership of the blue-chip property

At the heart of the home is a six-metre kitchen island complete with a butler's pantry, while floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the landscaped gardens.

The outdoor amenities are equally impressive, boasting a solar-heated swimming pool, gas-heated spa, sauna, poolside gym and barbecue area.

Before making Brighton her home, Nixon sold her Middle Park terrace in 2015 for $2.35 million after purchasing it a decade earlier for $1.853 million.

Nixon became one of Australian television's most recognisable faces during her long tenure as Nine News Melbourne's chief weather presenter.

She stepped away from the role in late 2025 so she could fully focus on her hosting duties on Getaway and Postcards.
