However, her family back in the US is closely monitoring the situation and staying in touch with the Hollywood starlet for any updates, the Daily Mail has learned.

An insider told the Daily Mail that Lohan's loved ones 'of course' are 'concerned.' 

'There's a lot going on over there,' the source added before reassuring, 'The family has been in constant communication. Right now, she's safe.'

A second source added that Lohan 'has been really comfortable in Dubai,' noting that she has had a calm demeanor in other tense situations such as the pandemic when 'she was so relaxed.' 

However, the insider admitted that 'it's a scary time for everyone, including Lindsay.'

Lohan's family could not be reached for comment.

An insider told the Daily Mail exclusively that Lohan's family are 'concerned' about her and her family's well-being amid growing war tensions abroad

Lohan, 39, was raised in Long Island, NY, but moved to Los Angeles as her acting career skyrocketed with films like Mean Girls and Freaky Friday. 

She relocated to the Middle East in 2014 following years of intense media scrutiny and .

Dubai provided Lohan with tranquility and privacy, as paparazzi-style photography is generally illegal there and in the wider United Arab Emirates.

While overseas, the starlet settled down. She fell in love with Kuwaiti financier Bader Shammas,  in 2022 and they , Luai, in 2023.

'Being in Dubai is very grounding,' she recently told Vogue Arabia. 'I get to just spend time with my family. The city gives me a sense of being with what’s most important.'

Only in recent years has Lohan returned to the US periodically to work on new projects such as and the box office hit Freakier Friday alongside her former co-star and longtime pal Jamie Lee Curtis.

Our first insider shared that Lohan's relatives back in the US have respected her wishes to stay in Dubai for more than a decade, and while they don't encourage her to move back stateside, they 'would like her to.'

'That's up to her,' the source insisted of Lohan's possible return to America. 'Her peace and happiness are the most important things - and safety.'

In recent days, Dubai, which normally boasts lavish cars and sky-high buildings, has transformed into a war zone.

It has since been reported that Dubai has been on lockdown, with even former soccer star  because of the ongoing strikes.

The ex-athlete, 47, likened the situation to the COVID-19 pandemic and said that because of his kids, 'you want to try and remain calm.'

The Daily Mail's first insider has also exclusively shared that although Lohan and her immediate family are fine at the moment, 'there is a plan in place for her to get out' of Dubai should something happen and 'it escalates at all.'

The second source added, 'She's got a lot of protection around her and she'll do the right thing.'

The Daily Mail has reached out to the actress's rep for comment.

Lohan, for her part, took to social media Sunday to share she is leaning on her faith.

She shared a post that read: 'Praying for peace. Stay safe everyone. God bless us all.'
