is set for a 'messy' showdown with 's pals at this year's in Manchester on Saturday.

The Not Fair singer, 40, dominated the charts last year with the release of her fifth studio album West End Girl.

In it, she shed a disarmingly honest light on her marital woes - from the discovery of her then husband David Harbour's 'P***y Palace' to his illicit relationship with 'Madeline' and alleged affairs.

The album has earned her three nominations at this year's BRITs in the Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Best Pop Act categories.

However, insiders have revealed she could be set for a very frosty welcome at the VIP enclosure in the Co-op Live Arena on Saturday.

In her 2018 memoir, Lily included details of a booze-fuelled tryst with Oasis Liam Gallagher after the pair boarded a flight to Japan, where they were both scheduled to perform at the Fuji Rocks Festival in 2009.

Liam was just a year into his marriage with All Saints singer Nicole Appleton, 51, when they allegedly romped in the First Class section.

An insider told The Sun: 'The hypocrisy of Lily is absolutely staggering to anyone who has been in this industry long enough to remember what she did to Nicole.

'She is marching around like the patron saint of betrayed wives, soaking up all the sympathy and making a fortune off this revenge album.

'But she happily slept with a married man and then wrote a book bragging about it.

'Nicole's friends, who include some of the most influential executives and artists at the Brits tonight, have not forgotten.

'To them, Lily is nothing but a hypocritical b*** who is perfectly happy to profit from infidelity — just so long as she isn't the one being cheated on.'

Daily Mail has contacted representatives.

It's understood Nicole won't be in attendance at this year's awards, though her son Gene Gallagher will be, as well as her former brother-in-law Noel and her niece Anais.

Lily had penned in her memoir: 'We got hammered on the plane. At some point Liam and I found ourselves together in the toilet doing something that he shouldn't have been doing, and it wasn't drugs. Then we were in a lie-down bed together.

'When we landed in Tokyo, Liam said, in his distinctive nasal twang, 'What you doing now? Why don't you come back to our hotel'... I was like, 'Yeah, OK'.'

She added: 'It wasn't until the next day when he said something like, 'No one can hear about this because of Nic,' then I clocked he was married.

'I knew Noel was married and I knew Liam had been married to Patsy Kensit. That was partly why I fancied him.'

Back in 2018, before Lily's book was released, Nicole tweeted her: 'One day our paths will cross @lilyallen!' (pictured with Liam in 2001)

Meanwhile, Lily recently confirmed her romance with Jonah Freud - who is the son of entrepreneur Matthew Freud and ex-wife Caroline Hutton and the nephew of celebrated late artist Lucian Freud.

She had been linked to Jonah since last year.

In a new interview, the star revealed she now has a 'boyfriend' weeks after she and Jonah jetted to Rome for a romantic minibreak.

The pair have been spotted on multiple dates and seemed to take things to the next level by jetting to Italy together - reportedly staying in a suite at the Hotel Locarno, thought to cost around £800 per night.

Lily and Jonah were also spotted kissing at her celeb-packed Christmas party at London's Stringfellow's in December.
