The Sun reports that court documents show he is the first-named defendant among three in the case, brought before the Dubai Court by claimant Alexander Keya.
The documents also show an accounting expert has been instructed to carry out a financial examination of the situation, the newspaper goes on to claim.
The documents show the court ordered the review on July 15 2025, with a remote judicial meeting scheduled later that month.

The precise allegations remain the subject of ongoing proceedings according to the publication and there hasn't yet been a final judgement.

Earlier this week Lee claimed he lost 20lb during his stint in the hell-hole Dubai prison, as he hinted he could move to the UK despite still being banned from leaving the UAE.

He hasn't shied away from online declarations since he was released last week, even transforming his look with an head of hair.
And this week, Lee claimed that his month in Al-Awir prison had an impact on his health, as he shared a video of himself back in the gym.
He captioned the clip: 'Back to building up the 9kgs I just lost last month.'
Following claims that Lee could be thrown back in prison if he fails to pay off his debts in 14 days, he has also tried to cash in on his stint by signing up for the video message site Cameo.

And it was in one of these clips that Lee hinted he was ready to leave Dubai and start a new life in the UK with his wife Katie.
One TikTok user, Camillarhuda, splashed out £17 on a message from Lee, and shared the clip where she asked him for dating advice on long-distance relationships.
He said: 'I will be coming to the UK, despite what everyone's saying... I'm on my way soon, so I'll be giving Dubai up a little bit.'
Lee has claimed multiple times he would be travelling to the UK, but has failed to get on a flight as he is still subject to a travel ban.

Sources claimed last week that Lee faces being hauled back to prison in 14 days if he fails to pay his outstanding debts, after new documents revealed the extent of his money troubles.
And now a new report suggests Lee - who claims to be a millionaire and successful businessman - is at the centre of a high-stakes property dispute
'He stated his wife is currently outside the country and that he has been unable to access his bank account required to make payment.
'He requested a period of 14 days in order to settle the outstanding amount.'
A source added: 'Lee managed to talk himself out of jail, and said he would be able to raise the capital himself.
'He says Katie has been his rock, and helped him liaise with officials when he was banged-up – but that he hasn't asked her to pay off any of his debts. He insists he can do that himself.'
Katie had previously warned Lee had 'questions to answer' about his so-called fortune when he was released from prison, but is now thought to have taken him back.
Despite mounting evidence that fraud was the cause for his arrest, Lee insisted that he was imprisoned on suspicion of espionage 'and held in a state security building' before being taken to prison over 'a civil case in Dubai'.
Last week Lee continued to insist there was 'not one shred of evidence' that he has been charged with fraud, hitting out at his ex fiancée Alana Percival for spreading the story.
Lee claimed he was 'taken to the Qatar border by the men, at gunpoint and was captured by men with assault rifles' before adding: 'They did slap me round a little bit, little s***s.'
The Daily Mail revealed in January, shortly after Katie's shock wedding to the businessman, that Lee took out a £200,000 mortgage in his ex Dina Taji's name without her knowledge.
She then took legal action against him, resulting in Lee being slapped with a travel ban from Dubai. Dina has refused to talk publicly about Lee, but agreed to meet up with Katie recently to warn her about staying with her husband.
'There's not one shred of evidence where I've taken a mortgage in someone else's name, particularly in my ex fiancée's name Dina,' Lee insisted.
'If I was to take a mortgage in somebody else's name, wouldn't she get that mortgage? How does it work? What would I benefit from signing her name? That's definitely not the case. So, let her bring the mortgage paper.'
Lee went on to call out Alana, who he said had spread the story.
Last week, Lee insisted presenter should lose her job after she branded him a conman.
On Wednesday's edition of GMB Susanna said 'I think my eyes just rolled out of my head' after hearing Lee's explanation as to why he was missing for a month in Dubai.
Leehas refuted reports he was arrested over fraud allegations and thrown into Al Awir Central Prison, claiming he was captured at gunpoint after being suspected of espionage.
His disappearance drama first started when the self-proclaimed millionaire failed to turn up for a joint interview with Katie on GMB last month.
Lee has now promised he will make it to the GMB sofa soon to 'thrash it out' with Susanna. In an Instagram video posted last Thursday, in which he tagged GMB and his wife, Lee asked: 'So, what is Susanna Reid rolling her eyes at?
'I'm not going to comment on that because obviously I'll go onto the sofa with Katie at some point and we'll thrash it out and then she can be as forthcoming as she likes.'
Despite saying he would save his reply for the GMB sofa, Lee went on to call for Susanna, who has been presenting on the ITV show for 12 years, to lose her job.
'To actually judge me without any evidence and calling me a conman is ridiculous, she should lose her job for that Susanna,' he continued.
'You're prejudging, you're prejudiced towards me without any solid evidence other than an ex is coming forward with a story, and that's all it is.
'If you're an investigative journalist then surely you should know that.'
